In 50+ years of Bible study I had never noticed that in Matthew 5:18 the word "till" is used twice. It behooves all believers to be humble when discussing the scriptures. No human has a perfect understanding of the Word. We are dependent upon the Holy Spirit.
  • This is the best answer to this question I have ever heard. Thank you so much for taking your time to teach!

I am so grateful to men of God, who like Don Carson are totally committed to bringing the true meaning of the bible to people like me, who has not otherwise have experienced such good and honest teaching from God's word.

Wonderful - I find this summary far more satisfying than the traditional views about our relationship to the Mosaic law which I have never found convincing.
  • While I don’t agree with his acceptance of the creative liberty taken by the Mark 7:19’s translators, I did find the overall presentation educational and insightful.  I will admit that I did have to use the pause button a lot in order to validate what he was saying. Definitely worth the 2 hours. (2 hours includes the paused/validation time)
  • There seems to be many varying opinions on this lecture. The Bible is complicated; however, I always refer to the book of James(believed to have been written by Jesus' half brother). *I have never heard it preached that you can go on with living any way you want after praying "the sinner's prayer." James is full of instructions on how we are to live especially in the first 2 chapters. My favorite is James 2:19-20 "You believe that there is one God; you do well: the devils also believe; and tremble." But wilt thou know, oh vain man, that faith without works is dead?" We are to be transformed so that we try to follow Jesus' example. That is it---plain and simple.

I lift up everyone's prayers, wants and needs to You Jesus, please pour out blessings. May Your favor, grace and mercy be upon the world. In Jesus name come help us all. You know our needs and everything else about each of us. In Jesus name amen thank you Jesus praise God 🙏 Help people to be rooted and grounded in Your love. That they are living in the truth being taught by Jesus. 🙏 Jesus Christ is the son of God who died and rose three days later and loves all of you. He died for everyone and wants you with Him, to know Him and live for His glory. Come be saved eternally and spend time with Him to know Him. Be free, forgiven, healed, delivered, saved, baptized, whole and let Him show you how He is everything you need.🕊️ Ask anything in His name 🙏 amen hallelujah praise God thank you Jesus 🙏 Show God, live for His glory🕊️🔥💕🙏. We are to be an example of Jesus for the world to see Him and want to know Him and know Him more. 🕊️ 🙏 2 chronicles 7 14 says if My people humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways I will hear them from heaven and heal their land. 🔥 People need to turn from their wicked ways, Jesus paid for it. They need to repent, to be cleansed by His blood and live Holy because He's Holy and righteous because He's righteous. Our God said to stop sinning in many many scriptures and He paid for everyone to be cleansed of sin, to live how He said. He dwells in the temple (your body) and said not to defile the temple. He said to defile the temple is death. He's always serious about everything He said to do. He's just as serious about what He said not to do. We live in obedience to His law, every word if it! 💕 Deuteronomy 28 there are blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. The whole chapter, and verse 46 is one example of generational curses. These go into the following generations, the 3 and 4th. Our children pay the price for our sin. Stop sinning you are sending consequences to your loved ones. By God's law you are. If you don't believe me ask Him, in Jesus name may you see and know the truth in it's fullness. 🕊️🙏🔥💕 He's worthy of everything He said and paid for, so I implore you to do as God said. Jesus said If you love me you will obey me. Praise God thank you Jesus in Jesus name 💕 🕊️ 🙏🔥

Jesus fulfills the law the same way the substance fulfills its shadow.

A lie is a lie, even if everyone believes it. Truth is truth even if no one believes it.
