AOC on the real story behind that Marjorie Taylor Greene exchange

I am a recently retired American citizen. I was able to earn a pension to support myself in retirement. I am not collecting any Social Security. What surprises me about these members of Congress like MTG is that I had minimum requirements to be hired in my position I had to invest in continuing education to maintain my position. If I had done something foolish during my years of employment. Not only would I have lost my job, but I would have also lost my pension. Why are there not minimum standards for Congressional Representatives, for US senators, for Supreme Court justices?

Even if you disagree with AOC in this interview, I would wager that MTG wouldn't be able to answer these same questions in an intelligent manner.

MTG is an example of how this government is going downhill. It’s sad and pitiful .

MTG has only caused chaos since she has been in this Congress. Our country does not deserve this, we deserve more respect. Turn her out, let us begin to repair our country. What has MTG even accomplished.? What a waste.

MTG is jealous that Rep. Ocasio-Cortez is more intelligent, articulate, caring, and actually achieving goals and creating needed change for her constituents.

I like how confident she is with her educated replies. Smart, well spoken, educated. And easy one the eyes.

I see the end of functional governance in DC, and I have deep concern about the future of our country, Notwithstanding, I think Ms Ocasio-Cortez is a rare bright spot in Washington. She is a genuine gift, one member, along with perhaps 25 others in the House of Representatives, who may yet save the nation, and get the US back on track.

America needs more people like AOC, Jasmine Crockett and other intelligent, classy and strong people in congress!
