    Okay, the fact that the final boss was initially invunerable to your fire until you crashed several planes into it was an awesome touch. Finally a fortress which lives up to it's name. The submerging / surfacing of the submarine was well animated, too.

    The final boss segment in this game looked pretty awesome and had a gimmick I haven't really seen in a shmup. Also, more shmups and their battle trains :3

    If you notice carefully... Some enemy designs, enemy behaviour and bullet patterns are very similar to Raiden... Including the bosses...
