Being in a room where every direction you look you can see the work you did with your own hands and creativity is a rewarding experience, even after it's no longer a consciously noticed thing. I've got a lot of those spaces now, and am making another in the camper trailer I'm completely rebuilding. Today, I'll be starting something very similar to what you did here: putting in the final bits after the vital but mostly invisible things have been completed. It's very pleasant to see the joy you've made for yourself!

Looks great Maya, one suggestion is to use a vacuum cleaner when you are drilling a hole. Position the hose just beneath the drill bit and hold it with one hand and drill with the other hand. This prevents dirt from falling onto the floor, it saves a lot of time sweep or mopping the floor

Love everything you do. ❤ Not because I want to lecture you but out of concern, I wanted to remind you to wear hearing protection when using power tools. It’s so easy to forget because ear damage usually doesn’t hurt as it is happening, but it is cumulative. Sanders and saws are some of the worst culprits as they are used quite frequently and/or for extended periods.
