He's Been Faithful - Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir

Never knew this song.....but God led me to this out of my desperation. That fateful night of February 28, 2014 when we learned that our only daughter had a cancer. Last time they had this case, the exact location, was back in 1978. Shook the core of my being. I did not lose faith, but i was desperate to understand whats happening. Around 3-4 am, with fear grasping my heart, I prayed so deeply to God, to give me understanding to accept His plans. Then after praying, I open YouTube to listen to music...and this was the first one that came up. I listened to it...i cried like a baby. The song expressed whats in my heart. AND all of a sudden, I felt peace, HIS PEACE that surpasses all understanding. My daughter after 5 years, emerged victorious over her CA. She's enjoying her life because of God's grace.

I had this sung at my nine-year-old son s funeral in 1999. I would listen to it almost everyday before he died. Didn't know it was preparing and strengthening me for my son's accident.😢 God is still in control and faithful!

It’s 2024, I have listened to this song since a teenager and it touches me every time. Thank you Lord for your faithfulness towards me. I could not make it without you.

I am now 50 years old and I haven’t listened to this version in a really long time, it’s still one of my favorite songs and when I testify or even when I pray I still speak of GOD’S goodness and faithfulness to me. A sinner so undeserving of it, yet HE’S always there. Thank You JESUS!!!

How can anyone who believes in Jesus the Son of God not be moved to tears as he was faithful.

I will add an amen to this great testimonial song. What a wretched, broken failure in my life I was and would always be had I been left on my own. But the King came! He saved my soul and put a new song in this old heart of mine, and He's always been so faithful to me since I was saved in 1967. Oh, that all of you would meet my Jesus! He's the best friend and King you'll ever know.

Got this song in a dream last night i was reminded of God's faithfulness. Listening to it now i can relate to every line the many times I fail and yet the Lord continues to be merciful, Thank you Jesus. I could not keep it all inside I had to share my testimony of God's faithfulness with my Sunday School Class. And I want to also share His goodness with anyone who may be going through a situation in your life , Jesus is the answer. Give your life to him , you will never be disappointed. He loves you and gave his life for you John 3:16 he will always be there for you. God bless you 🙏

Dear, whoever you are Jesus died for you and loves you so much; you cannot even imagine! God came for those who will say yes and it is He who saves, cleans, and justifies. It does not matter what anyone has done but it does matter whether we say YES to His ongoing call for salvation. He came to save the lost and that's every human being past, present, and in the future. He does not discriminate for HE IS TRUE LOVE! Keep seeking Him; He always answers those who seek Him with and sincere heart.

I always knew of the power that God gave me but I threw it away to overwork,drugs,new clothes,cigarettes..etc.In 2011 I went through 4 code blues and seizures,3 week coma,months in the hospital..I had foot drop,I lost 72 pounds and all of my muscle mass.I had to learn everything over again.I overcame a walker,wheelchair and leg braces,15 different take home meds.. One day while in my ICU room.I looked at the wall to my right and I noticed a red storage door there.Then I seen it roll straight to the top.I could see the floor and the steps beginning to descend down.I hear "Jeff it's your time." I looked at each arm and noticed a iv bruise..I then was trying to run from death.I said "Oh sh*t I'm not going."Then I hear "Jeff if you don't come,someone is going to come get you and kick you down these stairs."That's when I cried out to the Lord."Jesus save me."That red storage door rolled straight down. I went to a convelescent hospital on December 11, 2011 where I was supposed to get my full physical therapy.I was only there for 8 days.On the 6th day.The physical therapist put me in my wheelchair and brought me to the physical therapy room.She locked my wheelchair in front of a pedal bike machine..I only used it for about 45 minutes then went back to my room. On the 8th day I went to my mom's house where I stayed for about 4 to 5 weeks.I was walking again by the time that was over.2012 about March or so I completed my physical therapy.2013 I had my 2nd tumor removed.Tumor of my aorta.I should have been gone again.The doctors cut my stomach open about 15 inches.Now the doctors are making sure the tumors and cancer don't spread to my brain. Since 2011 I have been suffering with neuropathy from my shins or calves down to the tops of my feet to the ends of my toes.Please pray for me.I also have been suffering from asthma for the past 3 weeks.Pray I receive new lungs and a healed broken heart.My chest is congested.

I too have found this song a solace in times when I felt lost and confused . But listening to this 3 or 4 times , then my Spirit arises , with a determination to take off this shroud and stood like Conqueror for my God chasing the devil back to his slimmy pit where he rightly belongs ......yhen my joy eas immediately restored.I yhe n engaged i great eorship I have been restored.Thank you Jesus!!

The most inspiring part of the story behind Carol writing this song to me is that she wrote it BEFORE her daughter, who had strayed so far from the Lord, returned to Him, and came home. Carol wrote this in the midst of her storm, not AFTER the waves of fear had subsided and the skies had cleared. Carol wrote this song in utter faith.

One of the great choirs of this era. God used this ministry to rescue many from destruction. Also the mixture of people of different colors shows a brotherhood not seen enough in our churches. God Bless Pastor Pastor and Sister Cymbala as they continue to do God's work

I cry whenever I hear this. It was released when I was going through a wilderness.  I could never reached the other side without my Dear Lord Jesus. He is always faithful

These are songs that we need to hear, to remind us to be GRATEFUL and THANKFUL for the everlasting love and faithfulness God has for us.

The first time I heard this song in bible study several years ago, our pastor told us the story of how Carol Cymbala wrote this song. One of her children was caught up in drugs and rebellion, Carol heard the voice of satan tell her "I've already got one of your kids, I'm going to get the other two." In her deepest moments of fear, she put her faith in God and wrote this song. Yet in my own struggles sometimes, I feel like I could have written this song myself. He is SO faithful to me.

this song makes me cry EVERYTIME I LISTEN. THERE IS A GOD, AND HE LOVES US SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH. anyone who doesnt believe or has a hard time believing ... please seek him in the trials of your life and tell me if he hasnt been faithful. look for those impossible times where mayhem seems to happen. and it appears we still have favor in rough times. HE TRULY IS FAITHFUL!!!! thank you GOD... even when we dont deserve HIM, He's been faithful
