  • I've been a bass player nearly 35 years now (and musician over 40 years), and this axe that you built is a work of art. I'm glad it's being played and not just hung on some wall as an "oooh ahhh" piece.
  • I'm not a musician, but I appreciate quality workmanship. Fascinating process and great documentation of it. I hope the customer appreciates the effort and planning that went into it.
  • Beautiful bass guitar! I love when you can see the wood under the paint.

I am an old master maker that wishes I had the courage to make such radical gorgeous designs. I feel for you struggling with hobby tools and would love to introduce you to the virtues of spokeshave , plane and scraper but lovely work all the same.

Pretty sick looking bass! Love the black and blue colouring!

Those LED fret markers are a really good idea for when you're playing live and the lights are low. I know I sure could have used them on a number of occasions. COOL! Nice job man!

I love your design for attaching the wings. It looks so nice, and neat plus creates tons of sustain. It's like a set neck design for wings. Wow, your design for the switches is ingenious. I love the LED's, too. I have them in my bass and it makes it so much easier to play on stage when I can clearly see the fret markers.

Looks sick and sounds sick too. Great job

Luthiering skills lvl 999, soldering skills: don't talk about that. Back in the days I used copper tape to insulate the electronics cavity and the pickup well. All soldered together to prevent any unwanted noise. Too bad I can solder pretty good, but I'm not a good luthier :D
