Jasper to Banff on the Road

Having camped at Jasper for couple of nights, it was time to move! The next destination was Banff for our summer journey. These places are not strangers to us, still we wanted to return and return to the beautiful mountains and waters.

The views along the drive from Jasper to Banff are very much different from the other way around and I found it was more impressive and interesting to drive down from Jasper to Banff.

On the way, we made a couple of stops including a quiet place for a brief lunch and almost a siesta. It was a beautiful day and an exciting road trip.

We camped in Banff for the night, planned to go to town but did not find enough time to do so. We wanted to stay longer there, however, the campsite was fully booked and we were left with no choice but move on to Radium Hot Spring the next day.
