I bought a 2024 Civic Sport sedan in Pearl White. Walked out of the door paying 27k flat and even got the 4.9% APR for 60 months. Absolutely killer car. The white looks phenomenal with the gloss black rims. My gas mileage isn't crazy good but the car is a looker, and people compliment it all the time.

Had a 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid average 38 mpg with 196k miles on it. Batteries went out at 95k, replaced by Honda under warranty. Drove it another 100k, at that point the transmission was going out, battery was about to go out again. That's what they don't tell you about hybrids. BATTERIES GO OUT, just like your smart phone. Otherwise the engine was solid, never leaked oil, and could probably gone another 100k with out any issues on the engine. Donated it to a Veteran non profit organization. Just bought a 2024 Honda Civic sport hatchback in blue. 2k miles on it so far, great car, averaging 32 mpg in town, 35 on the highway. I also own Harley Davidson motorcycles, that's where my fun money goes. I just want a solid, reliable commuter car to drive to work for. The Honda Civic fits the bill. Also the blue is beautiful. I get comments from the neighborhood kids, and all my coworkers. It's a great looking car. Also the handling is amazing. When I go into an off ramp, and there is a BMW on my ass, I walk away from them. Good times.

Just got one of these Sport Hatchbacks after my 2017 EX Sedan got totaled. I've had it for a month and I'm so happy with it! The only thing I really miss from my 17 is the blind spot camera. That feature was so clutch!

Whats with the empty tow hook space in the spare tire kit?

I'm looking at getting this exact vehicle, but in Manual later this summer, looks incredible!
  • My plan for next spring is getting exactly this car. 2024 hatchback sport in sonic gray but with a manual. Reliability in these going to be crazy.

My 2012 Ford Focus hatchback has rear seat bottoms that flip up & forward to allow the seat backs to fold down flatter. Can you do that with the Civic rear seats as well? At nearly 185,000 miles on my Focus Titanium HB w/ manual transmission, I'm starting to look for another HB replacement w/ manual transmission. Not too much to choose from these days, sadly....😥 This car, in Sport Touring trim w/ manual transmission, would be a great commuter replacement for me!

Would michelin tires pilot sport all season 4 be perfect for this car?
  • @dharmensamant
Needs blind spot monitoring and heated front seats included as features for this trim. If Honda can offer that on HRV sport at similar price point, why can't they do that for Civic?

Found one just like this one with a manual transmission 👍and the selling dealer had a $6,000 market adjustment added to sticker. No thanks! 315 ‘Cuse.
  • Hi , engine is timing chain ??

  • @matrix2004
Patiently waiting for the Civic hybrid.

Nice review as usual! A shame that Honda doesn't make more Sport hatchbacks with a manual transmission (I found only 58 nationwide in a search just now). Also a shame you can't get the Sport sedan with a manual. (I have a 2020 Sport sedan with a manual. Love it.)

The crazy thing about the HP is, its only 2 hp less then the EM1 Civic Si 1999-2000,but 27 more torque. But that was also a 1.6 liter,I also think the EM1 is 100 pounds lighter. Just crazy how far cars have come, back in 1999 the Civic Si was considered "fast" now its just meh
  • I’m hoping to buy this to replace my Infiniti g37. The sonic grey is my favorite color.. 🤞 this will be the first car I am buying on my own after all.
