    We live with my husbands dad and iscon social security although he could still work.He moved in after his divorce after very stormy relationship with narcissiyic grandma. We dont have much and cannot support him.

  • it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out if your parents are financially secure. My parents still rent and haven't had a stable job in 30 years and complain about how grocery store bananas are too expensive now. I'm pretty sure they don't have a random stash of $5 million sitting around. The reality is most adult children can't do much to help this much of a lost cause save for a windfall of career or lottery winnings.
