I only saw Doddy live twice. The funniest 10 hours of my life. You know a great comedian, when you actually hurt from laughing, too much. He was brilliant.😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Ken Dodd was such a natural talent, with instinctively perfect timing. He had a genius for working the crowd, he knew how to take them with him, and keep them in stitches all night.

I was lucky enough to see him live and I have never laughed so much in all my life. It's true what they say about him over running - I don't remember what time we left but my sides & face were aching from so much laughter.

I went to hear him live back in the late 60s, we had to leave early to get the last train home! We'd already heard two and a half hours!
