I love how the keepers are a little bitter but also proud 🤣
  • @LetsGoGetThem
The funny thing is that they escape, walk around and then usually get back inside their homes. They seem to escape like it's a game, more than wanting to leave.

I love how the orangutan is smart enough to realize she's not supposed to be there, and literally just messing with the zookeepers over it 😂
  • Keeper: they know they shouldn't be there Orangutan: proceeds to put on latex gloves

The way she pulled the rubber band part of the mask you could tell she knew what it was for and how to put it on, but she was too strong and broke it🥰💕

She correctly donned her face mask & gloves. Wore a fire extinguisher cover for a hat and a bag for a cape. Fashionably dressed, she returned to her enclosure for afternoon tea. 🦧

I think my favorite part is how high def these security cameras are. All other CCTV videos are so blurry lol
  • 4:20 She's trying to dress herself up for her outside world plan, she's thinking in order to be accepted abroad she needs present herself like everyone else.. I feel for her.

I kept thinking "Run, Subis!! Get out through the skylight and freedom is YOURS!" But then, the poor lady has to get a job, find reliable transportation, arrange child care and locate an affordable apartment in a child-friendly (not TOO "friendly") neighborhood, and I was yelling "Back into the zoo where it's safe, girlfriend! You don't want to be out here!"
  • @TheFuzzyPetiole
I’m impressed she has all those babies hanging off her and still has enough energy to get adventurous! 🦧

Beautiful lady just wanted to take her kids for a walk... Take them to the "zoo" to see the humans in the cages.

Back in the 1980s a couple orangutans got out of their enclosure at the National Zoo in DC - as far as I know nobody ever figured out how even though they did it a couple times. The apes just spent the time chilling interacting peacefully with the zoo visitors, who were sharing popcorn & other snacks with them until the keepers rounded them up.

Orangutans are very intelligent. I loved when she got the gloves and playing with them. 🤣
  • @roboticol6280
chimps: throw everything and cause chaos oo oo aa aa orangutan: haha rubber glove
  • How rude of the zookeeper not to give her the right PPE against covid, she had to go and find her herself!
  • @shrimp3486
holy shit they are smart, she knew how to use the mask, gloves and kinda the sanitizer but also had some kinds of sence of fashion
  • @bigsassyster
When she was putting stuff on her back, it looked almost like she was trying to put clothes on like humans. Maybe I'm wrong, but the way she put the stuff on her back and then would walk around where only humans usually are makes it seem possible.

I like that the people keep cool and never made it into a big problem. They are smart animals and with time they return to the safety of what is routine for them.
