To retaliate against retaliation is how protracted wars start. The attack on the consular portion of an Iranian embassy was unprecedented (& against International Law). Netanyahu got off easy given that Iran considers their retaliation done after the one attack attempt, and that there were no Israeli deaths (vs 14 killed at Iran's embassy), and almost all slow- incoming attacks were blocked as anticipated. If Israel stops aggression, there will not be the escalating tit for tat that could turn into a decades long regional war. Netanyahu (& Fox News, & John Bolton Etc.) should pause & think. 🙏

It will be interesting to see how the israeli defense forces stack up against an actual army rather than simply attacking unarmed women and children.
