Nice to see young people having interest to join la Légion Étrangere. Served for 7 years (sorry if my english is not very good) in the 3ème REI, quite a long time ago, I am 46 y/o now. If you acheive your Képi Blanc and serve la Légion, you will never forget it. ex légio Legio Patria Nostra.

At least this guy is honest and is telling HIS experience and not just what he thinks. That is more than 99% of the viewers can say. Thanks Viking for posting vids about the experience as I am sure many of us are wondering and thinking about joining ourselves.

I made it to week 3 at Band Camp

I saw a space launch, I'm a astronaut!

Why so much hate? He's been there for 5 months and he is talking about his expereince in those 5 months. He is not talking like if he was a veteran, just giving advice for the ones who want to join and want to know what to expect in the beggining

was in 2012 paris then aubagne, left after beep test with a 3 months notice on contract. never returned. but will never forget. so beautiful experience.
-
obviously he didn't fulfil his term. thank you for your contribution to my knowledge though.

Hey mama, im a legionnaire, I finished Castel.

I inquired about joining the legion back in the early nineties. The French embassy in Detroit said I had to be almost fluent in French because if I didn't understand a command I could end up in trouble. They said it was mandatory.
-
Is this the guy that makes a YouTube channel instructing people on the best way to fail out of the French Foreign Legion???
-
Name changes were voluntary! Not mandatory.
-
I think “Walter Mitty” needs to have a word..
-
Hes simply talking about the initial process. Calm down people.

I know you only need 4 pull-ups to pass the minimum standard to get in, but what's considered a good number for that first test when you show up to enlist?
-
What is the hardest part of the selection? With glasses admit you? On the web it says you have to have few diopters, but they say it to look good or does it really matter not to wear glasses to pass the selection? Thank you!

Greetings from Greece dude! Looking forward to joining the Legion In March. I have like 1.80 myopia, do they allow glasses, contact lenses etc. I have anti ballistic glasses that I had them custom made when I joined the hellenic army, I am allowed to wear them or I should purchase the standard glasses? Thanks for The videos and the info Cheers!

Very useful! There are forums that are so negative! Looking at next summer as the British army knocked me back for a criminal record this has answered so many of my questions!
