Nice to have a dealer that will work with you, let you film and even work together on the install. Well done.

The thing I don't like about the primary clutch kits is they change the spring to a much higher rate spring and then increase the weights to try and make it work. What they don't tell you is that extra spring pressure will wear those plastic weight carriers much faster than normal. I have a 22 Cforce 600 and what I did to get the effect you are looking for is to replace the primary clutch spring with a lower rate spring using the same stock weights. The stock spring has a 200/400 rating part # 0951-1013, I switched mine out a spring rated at 120/400 part# 0951-1008. This gives quicker upshift at lower rpms but keeps the stock upshift rpm at full throttle. So at 5000 rpm cruising with steady throttle I gained about 5mph vs what it was with the stock spring and I likely decreased wear on the weight holders.

Thanks for the honesty, this is the kind of review people are after! Keep up the good work 👏

I have over 2000 miles on my original belt of my CF600 and still looks really good high and low gear is very important. The only thing I've noticed is it's dropped a few Miles per hour on its top end belt is definitely starting to wear.

Both have stock tires. C1 is less aggressive than B2 and gets almost the same result. Cforce 600 was a drive-by wire throttle. They have electric throttle now, so they are mapped to be smoother in throttle.

Excellent technical video. Me currently getting a CForce 600 Touring 2024 and this video explains alot for me. Like to do my own repairs.

CForce 1000 touring is about to be released in US def worth looking at for the price (90 hp), new CVT too

Great video, honest report and good to see a real mechanic working his trade. 👍

I have CF 1000 overland, I got primary and secondary clutch kit. Primary kit smoothed out starts a lot when clutch was warm. Secondary spring raised RPM across the board as it's supposed to do to get higher in powerband, More power but less gas milage. Not needed on a 1000 cc machine on real trails. I'm taking secondary back to stock
  • I did have the clutch kit replaced after seeing your first video. Mine got better, especially in reverse, but still have a little jerkiness. Still, I love my UForce 1000 and could not do the work on my ranch without it. Even my dog loves going for rides in "Buzz". I also got the new windshield, but I got the power version so I could adjust through the full range of openings. It was my wife's Christmas present and she loves it!!!

My 1996 Polaris 500 Sportsman has always had a smooth CVT. I’ve only had to replace the belt once. Same factory weights. Can’t speak for the new models but my 28 yr. old machine has always been smooth.

Great video, more content like this. I have stuck to Honda but if your mods fix issues with CF, they could become an option. The price of Honda and the other top 5 are pretty costly nowadays.

Good video Adam. I really appreciate the honesty you provide in your reviews. It tells me a lot about you as a person. I understand the dilemma. My small channel gets to review products from time to time and I always tell the company that I will review their product, but it will be a totally objective review. I recently turned down an offer because they said "if you find any problems please contact us before you publish your video". That spoke volumes about their business.
  • #1 thing I took away from this video is that your pond is looking awesome. I bet you'll be getting some great action out of it this summer. (not to take away from the main purpose, the pond in the background just really stood out)
  • @Hunterworks
Jerky starts are just part of owning a ATV/UTV with a CVT that has to engage the belt to get started, just part of it and rarely can be improved without affecting another area of operation with the clutch. How do I know? 21 years of CVT clutching experience.
  • I'm not brand loyal. I've owned Polaris, Honda, can am and Suzuki. Sxs's and quads. 9 months ago bought a new 2023 600 touring. I have 4200 miles on it. Always ride 2 up with girlfriend. I was a little hesitant to buy a Chinese brand but did my homework first. To date, have not had a single problem with it. I am anal about the maintenance and do it all myself. On original belt as well. Been very happy with my purchase thus far on this fully loaded machine. Its my opinion that its mostly how You maintain your machine. They all have issues in time. If you don't own a CF moto your opinion is not worth much in Regards To CF moto. Buy what you want and have fun.

Hey Adam! Informative video, thanks for the honesty and clarifications on the work done. Is the pond holding water? I think that's as much water as I have seen in it so far. Have a good one, take care and God Bless!!!❤😊
  • @ryan71100
Thanks for the transparency Adam! I have a 2023 cforce 500, the low is jerky but I guess it’s just something I’ll have to get used to, overall great machine other than that!
