  • WOW, no violence, no car chases,no one being taken advantage of, and I was hooked from the beginning, Loved It, bravo. More please 😊😊😊 Charmed Ones❤
  • This is based on the classic children's book "Ballet Shoes" by Noel Streatfield. She wrote a whole series of "shoes" books that I loved as a kid.
  • If I was a movie critic 🎉 I would rate it an A for good family moral values. Because it teaches children that if they become famous not to let the fame get to your head and it supports a family coming together to pay the bills when times get tough financially.

Absolutely loved it. See you can make a movie without all the unhappy instances of violence so prevalent today. A happy movie, everything wrapped up, everyone smiling at the end.

The film could have been another 20 to 30 minutes longer. It was a sweet film, sad that it was cut short. With a great cast of characters, more could have been made to show their acting abilities. Thank you.
  • Absolutely loved this precious movie. No adultery or filth, no bad morals. It’s a breath of fresh air with a happy ending 🎉 great for the whole family 👍🏼❤️

  • I loved Noel Streatfield's "shoes" books as a child in the 1960s. The charming stories are still fun to watch now that I'm in my own 60s!
  • while the book Ballet Shoes is truly one of my all time favorite books, and I don't usually like when they change/add things to the film that is separate from the book, the fact that they give Silvia a happy and, might I say romantic ending just makes me happy!

My mother was born 1934, and father born 1932. So I like period movies. Even attempts at period are appreciated.
