This man. He's basically the real life Anorak from Ready Player One. I've had many discussions and heard countless speeches on this topic. Never have I heard someone explain a probable pathway to AI that makes this much sense. He even creates a picture of AI that makes more sense. Numerous species? None of us would ever think of that until it actually happened.

    SingularityNET for the win!

Im here because I am learning about cardano and AGI token.

Tbh, Goertzel is an unsung hero of AI development and our progression towards the singularity.
  • Outstanding. The first intelligently ethical speaker on AI I've heard. Very interesting!!!

Amazingly good talk! Don't understand why it has soo little views compared to other TED's. Happy i found it.
  • This is the first time I’ve heard the phrase “species of a.i.”
  • I just really admire this guy and really wish there were more people like him. He almost has not a selfish bone in his body. At first glance, his appearance is such that many if not most people wouldn't open their doors to him. My door is so wide open and it would be a terrific honor to have him as a guest in my home. For those who don't know his educational background, it will blow your mind. Lex Fridman has him as a guest on his podcast which can be watched on youtube. I recommend it.

I'm so glad that you are not only thinking about this but acting on what you know to be right. Thank you Ben.
  • @V.F.Y.
He is describing the “ beginning of the end of human “.

Ben is like a real life mad scientist. He's super intelligent but really not careful about the danger's of AI. He knows this, but he still is willing too risk human catastrophe. Scary stuff.
  • @NinjaArts
Excellent! Thank you. I eagerly await our AI buddies
  • Very insightful. Open systems that allow close scrutiny of what is going on "under the lid" with a thinking machine is IMHO the way to go! This will evolve the field and allow creative input from the community. The idea of a powerful secretive AI project reaching human levels makes me lose sleep. Let we be wise in the ways of science.

I love watching interview and podcast with this dude

The DAIA is an interesting concept, reminds me of something like Guru for AI. They can basically freelance, contributing to the larger good or be functional members of society. It is something that many people may deem as impossible but look at how far we have come today. We’re essentially talking about this being a possibility. That in itself should say something.
  • @Goomero
truly we are the AI improving the AI
