Here’s how the Spright Engine works:

Every single Spright card revolves around the Number 2.

Level 2 (Spright Blue), Link 2(Spright Elf) and Rank 2. (Gigantic Spright)

By controlling any Level 2 (Nimble Beaver) monster you can Special Summon any Spright monster from your hand, or you can Special Summon them from your deck using Spright Starter, and each Spright Monster has a different on field effect;

Red (Spright Red) and Carrot (Spright Carrot) protect you from hand traps and add to your endboard, since Red can negate Monster effects and Carrot can negate Spell and Trap effects.

Meanwhile Blue (Spright Blue) and Jet (Spright Jet) search for any Spright card in your entire deck upon their Special Summon. Blue allows you to search for any Spright Monster and Jet allows you to search for any Spright Spell or Trap, usually a Spright Smashers or Spright Double Cross to strengthen endboards, or Spright Starter if you need access to more level two bodies.

And these bodies can be used to facilitate the Spright extra deck monsters;

Spright Elf, which can revive any Level, Link, or Rank 2 from the graveyard at quick effect speed, Spright Sprind which can foolish any Level 2 monster and Gigantic Spright which can Special Summon any Level 2 monster directly from your deck.

What’s done with these extra deck pieces will often depend on what deck they’re placed in, but a single Spright starter gives you enough level two bodies to go into any of these extra deck monsters, making it really valuable for decks that have specific level two monsters they want to summon or foolish.

    Thank God you made this bc I was not about to read these card effects for myself

    You should extend this series to full archetypes. Your video style and thoroughness would go amazing with a series like that. Just built Endymion for example, so it would be cool to see a guide like this.
  • Obligatory mention of main spright combo: Starter to summon Blue Blue search Jet Jet search Smashers/Double Cross Link Blue and Jet to summon Sprind Sprind dump Nimble Angler Angler effect to summon 2 level 2 monsters Overlay Sprind and one of your level 2s to make Gigantic Gigantic effect to summon Swap Frog Swap Frog effect to send another copy of itself to the GY Link Gigantic and the other non Swap Frog level 2 into Elf Elf effect to bring back Swap Frog Overlay the 2 Swap Frogs for Toadally Awesome Set your search from Jet This does not use your normal summon and ends on 3 interruptions. You can use Toad to negate sending itself, then use elf to bring back the Toad, then you can use your Smashers or Double Cross and second Toad at any point. Elf also protects Toad from destruction.

    All your videos are great but the quick explanation of popular decks is awesome for players that don’t always have the chance to sit down and try to figure it all out
  • I run Spright Elf in my dinosaur deck as a way to revive babycerasaurus for advantage from UCT, or revive Scrap Wyvern for extension into link 4 monsters.

    As someone looking to build Spright in Master Duel, this is very informative.
  • @topkek9669
    Please do this for more engines and even archetypes, this is so helpful and I love listening to you explain things

    My card knowledge generally keeps pace with Master Duel’s release schedule since it’s what I play, but I’d heard about Spright for a while and looked into them since I really like Live Twin. Between that testing and this video I’m very excited to see them come to MD, the value they add to my current basically negate-less board is incredible.
  • This Engine x explained Video Type is awesome. Compact and very easy to understand, yet in depth enough to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the Deck
  • I mostly play YGO online, but my deck is a Spright-Watt deck. I know that sounds dumb but being able to Wattrain after u filled ur board with thunder monsters, and nabbing yourself Wattcine, Wattcube and possibly Wattcancel and Wattgiraffe is really fun to pull off! Plus you can fall back on either archetype if one fails, with the other acting as extra insurance for your play being pulled off.
  • Fun Fact about Gamma Burst. Its boosting the whole Field. So if your Opponent has Level/Rank/Link 2 Monsters, their are pushed too.
  • These videos are literally life savers, the texts on these cards are too long for a sick me to read
  • As someone who played YGO from its beginning up til like 2016, and is coming back to see the cards, Im still stuck in the classic mindset and it blows my mind Level 2 monsters with a 1400/1400 stat line.
  • @c4dude333
    Thank you so much for making this video! I was confused as to how to play the deck for a while but you helped me understand the lines much more. My friend kept on telling me the deck was easy but I was still struggling, so this helps a lot

    Just got a ton of Melffy cards when pulling for Epurrely Noir in MD - turns out, Spright engine helps a LOT. I need to tinker with it to balance out the engine a bit more, but I never thought what amounted to (seemingly) random weak cards could synergies so well
  • As a master duel player this video is useful to get a good understanding of spright as soon as this theme gets realeased to the game. It gives me enough time to figure out how i am going to use this archetype the best way possible. Cause reading all this texts online is pretty exhausting. In modern day yu gi oh you need to play a deck a couple times to fully understand it.
  • @AiLYPRT
    Personally i love every videos about breakdown every card in archtype, but i think there's should be a section about how to counter these decks or engine that can be useful aside from showing how powerful the archtype is. Great video as always Mr Logs, my fav Yu-Gi-Oh Vtuber
  • So they've been in master duel awhile now. I started teching in deck devastation virus, INSTANT scoop, they actually cannot handle it and it brings me such joy 😭
  • I'm running a cyber dragon spright build at the moment. Being able to shut off opponents EMZ as well as have multiple 1 card starters and playing essentially 4 copies of starter is really nice. Also elf + toad + infinity + smashers/double cross is a really nasty board to try and play through
