Lol at the plane bringing the machine, your editing is a madness dude. So much work!

I've had this printer for about a year now. I live where it can get below freezing and the printer is in a detached garage. Despite the freezing temps, when printing overnight, the printer almost never fails. And most of those fails are when I have to set up supports myself and I screw it up. Other than that, it's been perfect and an absolute joy to use. I also love that the printing plate doesn't submerge fully into the resin, so you never have to worry about resin on the top of the plate. It's a small thing, but it's great.

Uniformation has not upheld it's guarantee withing a year of purchase and is now purposefully ignoring my emails requesting for support and replacement parts. I bought 2 GKtwo a washing and a curing machine. Overpaid, massive duty fees to canada, and now i cannot get any support or parts. Truly an awful experience.

I loved this review, too! Very heartfelt. Few people own up to their mistakes. Nicely done!

You heating the printer had me laughing. And thank you for teaching me about the delete all feature.

It's pricier compared to the competition, but they do definitely get a few key things right in my eyes.. First there's the obvious keeping resin at a decent temperature. No messing about with heating the vat with external things you may forget about. Second is the carbon filtration, which they've actually done a decent job on, especially compared to Elegoo's "we don't sell refills". Yes it's an extra cost to factor, but it also helps keep smells down. Third? The brilliant lid. Sooooooo many seem to assume we're fine with getting out lids messy over time and have some sort of way of dealing with it, or the room to lift it up. Then there's arguably one of my favourites - the fact the USB port AND POWER SWITCH are in the MOST important spot - the front. Glad to see a regular user's review of it, was a nice change of pace ^_^

I have one! its a great machine, and you are right about user error lol my fail happened when I didn't fill up the vat.
  • @MrKlawUK
looking at that curing station, my immediate thought was ‘if it was front loading they could have designed it to stack under the printer’
  • @OnceinaSixSide
Wonderful review. I don't think its unreasonable to expect to preheat the thing before you start printing - I do this with FDM machines all the time. I'll tell them to warm up the bed, and then I return to the computer and slice whatever I want to print, that way by the time I go to actually print the machine will be warmed up and ready to go.
  • Thank you for your time and review being new to 3D printing I am still trying to decide if this is for me. Again thanks.
  • @Mikey__R
I think the final bit of user friendliness would be making the internal memory accessible over the network via NAS protocols. Using a USB stick to transfer files has always seemed a bit low tech.
  • @AlDumbrava
Lol.. I didn't waste a full day.. just an hour (but honestly it's not intuitive)... Thanks to your video I'm going to try printing now 😊
  • @xeraoh
I'm just wondering how is the lifecycle of the heated LCD screen, do you need to replace it earlier than a normal (cooled) one ? these mono lcd's are not to cheap, just asking
  • @Gorebashed
My temp control is just in system settings, temp on or off and select temp, if I leave it on it switches on as soon as I turn the power on and gets up to temp. Got my Gktwo about 4 months ago, maybe you need to update firmware?
  • I over filler my printer and resin hardened under the fep vat. How would I remove it without damaging the printer?
  • @Infections95
Im still on the fence with whether the UK import prices of another £200 are worth the review compared to just getting a saturn off amazon for £400 less.
  • Why are the NFEP sheets so expensive? I'm considering buying a pre-owned machine, but that's a lot of money for sheets.
  • @InputVerolian
Think I'll stick to my Saturn 3's with wambam plates...All of these videos seem bought and paid for by uniformation.

Y U No wear mask?? I'm in the research step of buying a resin printer, one thing holding me back is a dedicated work space. I've read so many warnings and spooky stuff about the chemicals, and personally, if I die faster because of a resin printer, oh well. Live fast, print young. BUT I have cats and family I don't necessarily want to kill. Right now, I could put it in a very small shed that would be sharing space with a freezer. Sounds sketchy. Plus this shed bakes in the summer and freezes in the winter. I've heard this thing is great for low-temps but what about some dry-ass desert?
