The only celebrity worth listening to and learning from. Every show I’ve seen has taught me something.
  • One of the greatest minds we have in conservation, one of the biggest voices for our Statelands, rinella is the man and a hell of a role model

“Every time you make a cast you’re asking the water a question.” -Steve Rinella Literally did a double-take on just how profound, deep, layered, and universal that statement is. Wow!
  • “There are two spiritual dangers in not owning a farm. One is the danger of supposing that breakfast comes from the grocery, and the other that heat comes from the furnace.” -Aldo Leopold

Never miss an episode of MeatEater. I'v never envied anyone in my life for what they do... that changed a bit when I found Steve Rinella.
  • I have hunted and fished all my life. Rinella has been able to articulate matters of conservation, hunting and fishing in ways I always thought but never had been able to put into words. Hell of a role model for the outdoor lifestyle.

Steve Rinella has a wonderful way of communicating his thoughts - some deep, some not!

Rinella, Janis, Callaghan, Clay, and the whole crew. Got me and my son into hunting more than anything else. Love everything Steve produces and does. @Will Cain - great interview! Thanks for bringing more people into knowing about all the good Rinella and his Meat Eater team are doing for conservation, hunting, humanity.

I’ve found that when you get to the level of outdoor experiences and adventures where it’s more exciting to see people new to the outdoors creating their own memories and experiences hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. Seeing them learn about natural and our part in it is absolutely awesome. Teaching them patience develops a different patience within you. I hold Steve and his experience in the outdoors in high regard. I’d relish to opportunity to hunt or fish one day with him.
  • I was glued to my tablet. I love Steve. Have watched him for years. But the onsite from this interview is amazing. Will you did a great job and I enjoyed learning more about you as well.
  • His statement that Not Hunting is what lsn't natural for the human species is so true! We"ve ALWAYS hunted until the last few decades.

What a great interview loved every minute of it. Thank you both.
  • A man I definitely look up to and respect for not just his writing and MeatEater but for his ethics and overall approach towards the outdoors.
  • Loooove me some Steve rinella!!! Now only if he'd stop whining on the podcast trivia show 🤣🤣🤣🤣. If y'all listen to it you know what I'm talking about lol. Steve is a very intelligent, well spoken funny dude and we need many many voices like his. I devour anything Meateater related.
  • Some of the stuff this guy has done as far as hunting is amazing. He's a good voice for those that want to live off nature.
  • I really enjoyed the interview. Steve is a great personality and I have watched him from season 1 and I watch him today. Of all the TV, internet, and literary personalities out there he is the one I would actually like to meet
  • Steve & the entire Meat Eater crew are the reason I have a new interest in hunting. They've given me an entire new perspective
