You all missed the point. People are angry with Jada because everything that we know about their marriage comes from her, not him. She keeps talking about their marriage when he is a movie star. It seems like she is trying to tarnish his image.

Whoopi made it absolutely clear she wants nothing to do with the conversation without even saying it and I love that. Everyone’s blaming Jada for talking about their private life yet a whole segment was dedicated to it.

Jada is now and has always been in my opinion, full of crap. From the way SHE (not Will) chose to raise her kids to how she is with Will, she has huge narcissistic issues. However, Joy nailed it. And this is why I am not particularly sympathetic when women claim to be mentally abused by their partners. At what point does free will kick in? Will Smith is a grown man and is CHOOSING to allow Jada to manipulate him. Now that we know she didn't consider herself to be his wife on the night of the Oscar's, in hindsight it makes Will's behavior all the more pathetic. Because if you remember he first laughed at Chris's joke. It wasn't until he looked over and saw Jada looked pissed that his Pavlov need to perform for her kicked in. I think they are both pathetic and Jada needs to look for another revenue stream beyond discussing her marriage
