    I need a rifle ? Theres always a catch .
  • Moving the turrets to zero?! BRILLIANT! I didn't even know that's what the screw on the turret was for.
  • Great presentation. It’s always worthwhile bore sighting at 25yd first. You don’t have to fire a shot (although I sometimes will fire 1 shot). This will ensure you are somewhere on paper at 100yd when you fire your 3-5 round group. There’s nothing worse than getting setup at 100yd / metres and your first couple of shots disappear somewhere of the side of the target and you have no idea where they went.

Hey, you made the how to zero the turrets explanation simple. I didn't realize it was that easy. Thanks, and thumb up.
  • Remember it all comes down to your "cold barrel" zero. I can appreciate waiting for a bit between firing the next round because you should indeed allow the barrel to adjust back to the ambient temp. This will ensure max accuracy when always firing your first shot out in the field. Cheers!

This shows me how little I know about "Rifle Scopes" I never knew you can reset and lock down the "Turrets". Well explained "Tutorial" I learned a lot by watching it. Thanks
  • @carribean660
Thanks for explaining that for the new shooters like myself
  • @Moses55845
Very professional and disciplined instruction, right to the point and No arrogance whatsoever, Thanks!

All of it was very good but turning the turrets back to zero was drop dead brilliant! Thanks very much...

A quicker method to sight in a scope is to fire your first shot(assuming VERY stable rest, sandbags or similar), line up again on your original point of aim, then adjust your cross hairs to the point of impact. Done.

Mate I’ve been shooting for years the idea of zeroing your turrets it’s brilliant!

Thanks for the quick and simple video. I just purchased the same scope and dialed it in the other day. As with all my Vortex scopes, I'm very happy with the quality/price and of course the worry-free warranty. I'd gladly be a walking billboard for Vortex if you send one of those t-shirts or cap. :)
  • Just discovered this many years later for my first new sig scope. Thank you Vortex, i know yall are the best but i cannot afford while certainly will always recommend your brand.

I've watch so many videos on YouTube explaining this, everyone single one was very confusing. You made it very simple to understand, thank you so much. I will ll be subscribing to your channel.

Clean and straight to the point video. Nowadays there are too many guys making shooting videos like this : 5 minutes music, 5 minutes talking and that's really annoying.
