Of COURSE they fear the governor's law. They wouldn't have to fear it if they just did their jobs, followed the law, and did use government positions for activism. However, doing their jobs, following the law, and not using government positions for activism isn't the democrat way.

I hope and pray that more governors follow suit and make the same kind of bill. It would be nice if they did this in NYC, but they'd have to vote a Republican into office first.

Kemp made the right move. He put the mechanism in place to deal with these district attorneys and prosecutors. Having a panel allows for it to be done by a group rather than a single person with an agenda or whatever interests. It creates an environment for them to build a real case and not just ‘I don’t like this person’. I agree with this bill.
