Critics blasted the 1994 cast for being terrible; Chris Farley. Phil Hartman. Norm MacDonald. Adam Sandler. Dana Carvey. Mike Meyers. David Spade. Al Franken. One of the most talented lineups since the original 1975 cast.
  • and to this day every time i eat fries i say, "these are good!". almost nobody understands the reference, but it's for my own amusement.

“Lay off me I’m starving!” One of the best, classic quotes in SNL history!
  • @Nick-mc2hy
David Spade wrote the infamous “Lay off me I’m starving” that Chris perfectly delivered. You can even see David reciting the line as Chris is saying it. Great moment between colleagues and friends.

“LAY OFF ME I’M STARVING...hehe...hehe...diet starhts mahnday!” 😂

"I can't believe we are wearing the same thing we did four days ago." That line makes the sketch for me.
  • @whitetigerhd
My favorite line is by David spade "I can't believe we're all wearing the same thing we did four days ago." LOL
  • "Yeah, Misty...You're so dumb, when they were passing out brains you thought they said trains and then you got on it and...on a train and then went for a riiiide!!"
  • I worked as a waitress in a restaurant next to a gap when the girls came in for lunch all I could think about was this sketch

Farley stammering through that train comeback was flawlessly hilarious. Even spit out some fry. Goddamn, what a legend.

The first time I heard the "lay off me, I'm starving" it almost killed me. I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe!

I love Adam Sandler in this one, he was trying SO HARD to sound like a girl. Whole sketch is hilarious.
  • @mikecleri
Sandler looked like Janice from Friends
  • @dianaperez4764
David Spade looks like Kimmy Gibler from Full House 😂
  • The look on David Spade's face when Farley says "LAY OFF ME I'M STARVING" is priceless

I want to go back to the 90's so bad. I wish I had a time machine so I can go there and stay forever.

I recorded this on VHS when I was a teenager. This was my favorite skit of all time and I still had it memorized while watching it again. “You’re busted..sweetie. And so are you Paul, now get out!”

Check out Spade giving the "It's your line!" eyes to Farley. 1:42 Lol These two were incredible together.
  • I know Chris Farley's, "Lay off me! I'm starving!" is the star of this skit, but Rob Schneider's, "WhatEVER! Have fun making minimum wage, GIRLS!" is also great.
