I just cannot believe that I will be living there soon. OMG.... The hype is so real right now!
  • @mtldroneview
Truly is such an amazing city, so happy I can call it home
  • Living in Montreal is very different from other towns; you have European vibes with a mix of American vibes, the food is fabulous, and you wish to eat real mid-eastern food, fine you've many places to pick from. You want to eat real French food, there again many places to pick from, oh wait, I want Thai food for lunch, again you've got it. You love European flair music wise of course you've got it. If you want to dance in an Argentine place go downtown, right next to the best
  • Great video ! you covered most of it ! When you re in Old Montreal you need to mention it ! i didn t hear you say it ! I was born on Montreal Island in 1956 ! Montreal is over 350 years old ! Yes it s mainly french but Montreal is different ! West part of Montreal is mostly English and the East is mostly French ! Come in summer and participating in one festival after the other ! !thanks for showing the world what Montreal is all about ! thanks a million ! :yougotthis:

You eat omg well, live really well, constant festivals, and there’s jobs galore!
  • As a Montréaler now living in the south of France, one thing I really do miss is the bagels.

In Montréal, if you eat in a park, It's a Disney moment. All the wildlife wants some!

Our favourite place. I've said this before, we have been there every year since 2014 until the pandemic. And we went again in early July. We hope to retire here in 20 to 25 years if we can afford it. ❤️

I live in Phoenix. Phoenix (proper and metro area) has almost exactly the same population as Montreal (proper and metro area), yet Phoenix doesn't have anything that Montreal has. Yes, Phoenix is newer, so it would naturally lack some of the charm that comes with age - but geez, we have almost nothing here but flimsy, beige, stucco, sugar-cube homes and freeways for hundreds of square miles. An almost endless sea of mediocrity with pockets of golf-course neighborhoods for those who can afford it. I feel robbed by our politicians and business community.
  • Montreal is the most walkable city in North America because of its high density and walk/bike friendly infrastructure. I really hope all these people loving it here realize that. You can probably notice that from lack of cars in this video. There’s no magic spell that makes Montréal special.

Très beau reportage / Very nice report ! Plus que jamais vraiment fière de ma ville natale / More than ever, i'm really proud of my hometown - Vive Montréal!!! ;)
