  • Former Methodist, former Anglican, former pagan, former agnostic, and after exploring Orthodox Christianity I will be baptized for the first time Saturday and I know I'm coming to the true church. God bless us all!

I’m a convert from Catholicism. It was not easy, but it was worth it. God bless you in your labors. ☦️

I left Protestantism several years ago but did not stop believing. I was somewhat content not going to another one. I think the Lord used that absence to open me up to Orthodoxy which I "happened " to discover on the internet. Jay Dyer was the catalyst. Brother Augustine, Father Josiah Trenham, Father Peter Heers and others as well. I live in a small town with many Protestant churches, and a couple Roman Catholic. but we have One Greek Orthodox Church and I happened to run into the new Priest while working. He is very Orthodox and sound. I was Baptized last year the day before Pascha at the age of 65. I still have a lot to learn, lot of growth, but it is the last stop, I found the Church, and I will be buried an Orthodox. God have mercy on me a sinner. I would never have thought this would happen to me. All Glory and Honor to the True and Living God for His great and abundant Mercy!!

I turned 66 last month, and I was born into evangelical Protestantism (Independent Baptist, then Southern Baptist). Late in life I had my fill of it, walked away, was received into the Orthodox Church, and never looked back. The little Antiochian parish I belong to is growing exponentially with young families, and young men, fleeing nihilism and evangelicalism.

I'm also converting to Orthodox after over 25 years of being a hardcore atheist.
  • @apologists
I'm also in the process of converting from non-denominationalism to Eastern Orthodoxy, glory to God, it makes so much more sense and once you've seen the light of Orthodoxy, there's no going back ☦

Former Catholic: Started inquiring in August of last year. This Pentecost I will be baptized. No regrets. Orthodoxy is the way. God bless you and good luck on your future

Reformed Baptist here and my wife and I are visiting an Orthodox Church in our community this weekend. Every point you hit on is 100% the reason I want to go, so tired of all the top 40 worship songs and constant change to try and conform to the world!
  • My wife and I were both lifelong Baptists and we were baptized into the Orthodox Church on Palm Sunday of 2023. I felt like you were sharing our story in your video! We have a lot in common. I’m a southern boy (Texan), seminary educated, ordained minister, and served on a church staff for a few years (I was mostly a volunteer). It is so beautiful to be a part of the one, true Church established by Jesus Christ. We finally feel at HOME! My only regret is that it took me so long to get to this point. God bless you!

A house church I went to for awhile would use store bought garlic bread for communion. Lord have mercy.

I converted to Holy Orthodoxy nearly thirty years ago now. I thank God daily that He led me into the fullness of truth, the Ark of Salvation, despite that fact that I am a hopeless sinner enslaved by the passions of this world. His mercy is boundless and eternal. The Apostolic faith of Christ is truly the only way. Welcome brother. ☦️☦️☦️
  • In the history of the world it’s never been easier to find the Truth ☦️God bless!
  • @szudy76
I’m an Orthodox Catechumen as well. Leaving the Roman Catholic Church. Glory to God.
  • Many years to all of you. I converted last year from an atheist background and it's been a journey. Prepare to cry. In joy, in repentance, and in awe.
  • @BoyPls-rg1dr
Former Roman Catholic, becoming Orthodox. It is the ark of salvation. Keep on praying.
  • Great presentation, welcome home. Got an instant sub outta me. I have been dipping my toes into Orthodoxy for 4 years, was a catechumen for 2 years and now finally made the decision to convert. I will be recieved into the Church on Holy Saturday of next week. God bless you and your family

Welcome home brother. I was baptized last year on Holy Saturday after leaving Protestantism. Glad to hear more people in America coming to the Church! We need Protestant zeal!☦️

I was baptist and my wife was non-denominational and both of us feel the same way. When you enter the church you're supposed to humble yourself before God. How are we supposed to have an amazing and deep relationship with him if we don't fast for him? If we don't pray and prostrate before him? If we don't look up to his fellow followers and love his mother as he did? All it took for her and I to convert so fast was for us to soften our hearts. I still can't believe how arrogant I was as a baptist. Every single one of the debate arguments the Orthodox brought to Protestants were irrefutable, and the more I learned the more I realized how wrong I was. It was very very humbling to say the least. We've never felt so complete in the faith before Orthodoxy

I'm sure you are aware; the Orthodox Church in the United States is growing rapidly. People like you are discovering that Orthodoxy is truly the fullness of the Christian faith. I was blessed to be a founder of a parish in Oklahoma in 2003 under the guidance of Archbishop DMITRI of Dallas - a true saint. We started with 10 people and a part-time priest. Today we have over 100 children in our Sunday school classes with over 20 catechumens and dozens of inquirers. By God's grace, your journey is a journey many Americans are taking - finding the Ark in the stormy seas. May Christ, the True God, bless you and your family.
  • Nice to see a southern Baptist boy converting, former Independent Fundamental Baptist here and i was recieved into the Orthodox Church in February. And have been convinced of it for about 2 years now. It really opens the scriptures to a new level and you have the rich traditions and the saints. Found my way out of the false dialectic of roman Catholicism and protestantisim and by the Grace of God I wont go back
