Guy in audience: "What's your favourite Lionel Richie song?" Riff Raff: "Hello" 😂😂

I enjoy the movie, but honestly, the audience participation and the adlibbing and the very pregnant pauses as the actors are trying to keep it together as the audience cheers... this is one of the best renditions in my opinion!
  • What a moment this must have been for Richard O'Brien. Imagine it's 45 years earlier, and he writes this musical he thinks will play for three weeks, and then it's 2015 and his weird little play is now a global phenomenon

Riff Raff's vocals in Over At The Frankenstein Place absolutely astound me.
  • I saw the Rocky Horror in the seventies and I never thought anyone else could do Frank justice but this guy is really good too...he has such a mischievous face!
  • Stephen Fry is fantastic at improv. Such a great casting choice

David Bedella was 53 when he was Frank here, and good Lord can he still get it. #dang
  • I've always loved the film, but this was really FANTASTIC. David Bedella was a great Frank N Furter, remeniscient of Tim Curry without being a copycat. The body language was perfect and great charizma. The whole cast did a great job of making it their own while being true to the characters which is hard to do with something so iconic and campy.

"When do we return to Transylvania?" Audience: 'Wednesday!" 😅

Also, Columbias little gasp before "I'm outta here!" is a perfect representation of the moment when you realize that you don't have to stay in a toxic relationship.
  • Absolutely love this version, but I wish there were more high-quality recordings of stage productions available so I wouldn't have to keep watching this one over and over again to satisfy my Rocky Horror thirst

Having never seen it live and only watched the movie on dvd this is an hilarious treat.
  • David bedella was brilliant. It can not be easy to follow the classic performance of Tim Curry. Bravo.

This remains easily the best live version I’ve seen. Such a fantastic show, and I love that they were able to include the crowd participation. A fantastic show, outstanding cast, Frank was jawdropping, Riff Raff was absolutely outstanding, easily the best performer of the night, Janet was amazing, Columbia was bang on the money and Magenta made me want to cry and laugh in equal measure in the scene before the floor show. All in all, a fantastic performance.

I still can’t get over the fact that David Badella played a talking train in Thomas the tank engine and then goes to sing sweet transvestite
  • I’ve heard everyone talking about how good David Badella is as Frank, and don’t get me wrong, he is amazing, but I think Ben Forster is the best Brad of any rendition and doesn’t get enough love. He leans very heavily into the dorkier aspects of the character which over all makes him all the more likable of a protagonist. Barry Bostwick gave a killer performance in the movie but his Brad was a touch too macho for my taste. Having the more macho moments play off as Brad pretending to be something he’s not makes act 2 all the more impactful. Love this version so much lol!

Rewatched this whole thing again recently and god, anyone else get absolute chills at David’s performance in Frank’s death scene? The way he looks around desperately and starts screaming for help while the others can only watch is both really sad and almost kind of scary
