I Used the RAREST BIONICLE MASK in a Custom Build

Welcome to Mitch-Builds, I’m Mitch and I build custom LEGO creations! Today I'm building with the 1 of 200 Transparent BIONICLE mask of water. This is probably the rarest BIONICLE mask LEGO's ever made. And for sure the rarest one that I own. Only 200 were ever made! Mine’s #162 and I was lucky enough to win it in an official LEGO contest way back in 2016. Winning it was the most surreal experience in all my years as a BIONICLE fan. It’s such a cool part and a great throwback to the original transparent Gali Mask but at the end of the day, it’d be a crime for me to not crack this package open and use this mask in a custom-built.

  • A pleasure working with you my dude! Thanks again for those crisp and beautiful photos of your mask :)
  • @Hokenlord
I have a challenge for you: make the bulkiest Bionicle that you can. Most of the ones you build are clearly meant to look very muscular, but I think it would make for an intersting video where you build a Bionicle with a BIG presence.
  • @masterblindon
Bionicle needs a revamp with you as the head designer
  • 20 years old jeez, time flies. Remarking about those borok parts- these Bs are 5 years younger than me

Wow, this is probably the most "traditional" you've ever been with the internal "skeleton" of the build. Actually the whole thing was way lighter on janky sudo-connections and illegal building techniques than normal. Even the one's that are used are frequently solid enough that I'd actually be willing to replicate it in one of my builds, but despite all that it still feels just as detailed as most of your other builds! Great work as always.
  • Every time I find myself thinking, "That doesn't look that good" then you add one extra detail where everything clicks, so I apologize for doubting your skill! I love the North of the Border style video and beauty shots! You're one of the few creators I have notifications on so thank you for blessing our feeds!
  • This guy is like the Lego version of North of the Border, and I'm all here for it
  • This looks a lot like how I'd imagine a G2 version of Brutaka would look like! Great job as always, love your work and keep it up!

Gali and Onua were the first and last Bionicle series I had. Thank you so much for letting me meet my childhood memories again in a wonderful way.

"break a 20-year-old part" As an old school Bionicle fan, I felt that

This randomly came up on my feed, and I clicked on it cause it looked really cool and this is probably the most incredible Lego build I’ve seen in a long time. I’ve just gone down to my basement and dug up a few boxes full of bionicle parts that I got off an auction a while ago then forgot about. I haven’t even opened it, but this video has inspired me to play around with them and see what’s in there.

Man's LEGO is worth more than my appartment
  • Lego builders are geniuses. I always wanted such creative power, but I never had the vision that you guys have. The ability to see how everything goes together is incredible.

My jaw was dropped the entire time I watched you build this. I love making MOCs and some of the techniques you used I never would have thought of. Absolutely incredible work.
  • @MatfisMatfis
I'm glad whenever items with big collector's value get used for their intended purpose instead of rotting away on a shelf. Good work!

Never had bionical but very impressive
