Watch our Introduction video on the book of Hosea, which outlines the book’s main theme and how it is fulfilled in Jesus.

God promised to protect Israel, but the kings of Israel drained their own people to buy weapons and protection from foreign lords instead. God is angry. The prophet Hosea calls this type of idolatrous foreign policy "adultery." So the book of Hosea asks an unsettling question: "What will God do when his bride becomes a whore?" But the book of Hosea also gives a disturbingly gracious answer: "God's compassion is far hotter than his wrath." See how Hosea points us to Jesus as the husband who buys us out of our political adultery and loves us with great compassion.

"Gods compassion burns hotter than his wrath." That is such a good line. Love your channel!
  • I just made a sexual sin last night. I felt awful after. I felt so miserable and hopeless, I have greatly sinned ohh Lord. I thought that I will never be forgiven ever again. Then I had a dream about a place where the surroundings are very beautiful and stairs going up, I tried to go there then I woke up realizing it was already afternoon. I stayed in my bed for quite some time and my brain just kept on flashing the word Hosea. I played the Wednesday Rosary on youtube, it was about the Glorious mysteries. Then my thoughts keep on flashing the word hosea, I tried to search it in the web browser, then in youtube also. Then I saw this video. After watching this, my eyes became watery and tears came out of my eyes. I felt that God still loves me after what I did. He is still there guiding me and wants to go back to the right path. I was crying as I composed this comment. For all those who felt hopeless, know that God loves you more than your sins. Please listen to Him.

😄😁🙏🏽 I'm being honest here, I cried heavily. This hit me really hard, and a wakeup call for me. It gives me reassurance and helps me put my faith and trust in Jesus. God bless you all
  • Lord, Your love is so amazing! Your compassion burns hotter than Your wrath. You just can't give Your bride up. Help me to never fail You, Lord.🙏🏼🙌🏼

God's love is truly beautiful beyond words or comparison. We do not deserve it, but He gives it anyways.

I came across this in the Bible and thought God was saying I don’t deserve him but still receive him , then later continued my night and sinned and when I did everything God healed me from came back but later went back to normal when I get in his word but it becomes hard to be healed again but I now learned that God was saying andrew every-time you sin I have to get you back from the devil , so I’m not gonna sin no more it’s not worth it. Thank you Lord I’m sorry for going against you
