We raise and breed Silkies. I can tell you from experience you need more mature hens. He is being hormonal but also trying to protect his girls. We call it failure to thrive. I suggest poultry cell and rooster booster. You might need to give them vitamins. We have lost quite a few lately with no symptoms or warning also. It will help with these crazy weather patterns we are having.For sure give them fresh water with electrolytes and probiotic.

Hi Brie, I am sorry about the problem with the yellow chicks. We will just call it a problem. And I know birds of all kind have problems and poof it happens. Anyway the ones you have are so cute, I love silky chickens their so silky and soft. Bless you for sharing.....🙏😊❤

Bri don't let them get you down. I know that it's easier said then done. But I guess your not supposed to talk about real life ,only the good things. Well that being said things happen and animals get sick and animals die. That what real people on a farm deal with. I hope that you never give up because you are a good momma to all of your babies human,and animal. I'm not trying to be mean because you are a very good person.

There's days I have that drag down. Sometimes you just need to take a nap. Taking care of yourself is a priority. You have a husband, kids and daily life. You are important to us. So if you have to take a day off it's fine. We love you and your family. ❤❤❤
