Reminded me of the time I was on thin ice fishing. At least the sound did

There are a few broken corners already. I like to stay 2" off the edge.

Thanks for this information. Can I ask what shoes you recommend for best grip while walking on roofs? You seem to be wearing a style of deck/boating shoe in this video, so is the herringbone grip your preference?

Good tip, thanks!

Can u put a wood plank across?

Thanks...👍👍👍

Thanks. What's the best way to walk on Spanish style roof tiles (the wavy kind)?
-
What about for roof tiles that are wavy? My roof is not flat like yours so how do you walk on roof tiles that are wavy?
-
In Spain we threw a lightweight mattress on the roof and crawled.

Wait a minuteeeee. I know this house isn't it on River Oaks lane in east highland.

Not so fast there. First, you can not be a heavy person bc you increase your odds of breaking tiles. You really need to be a lighter person. Secondly, don’t wear work boots bc they are pretty hard sole and there’s no flexibility with these. Instead, wear a soft sole running type shoe. Also, in the first shot of you walking, on the tile above the left foot there is a broken tile. If you can, do not step at that exact location where tiles meet side-by-side together bc those edges are very narrow right there and will break. And that’s exactly where you are walking. Hence the broken tile. Instead, try to focus your foot on the lower third, that’s the most overlapping and strongest part of the tile installation there at the bottom. Again, do not step on the edges that meet together. Finally, NEVER walk above that lower third bc there is no support under that part of the tile and may surely break.

And make sure your shoes are tied up.
-
Thank you for this. But dude, tie your shoes. You're on a roof.

Those are cheap tiles, people walk on those all the time
