貴重なオルゴールの製造工程のビデオ紹介ありがとうございました。なかなか見られない製造場面があり、参考になります。短い限定された編曲工程などのお話は以前お伺いしたことがありますが、現在はどのようにされているのかを紹介していただくとありがたいですね。現在はＰＣなどを駆使したやり方なのでしょうけれど、ＰＣがない時代での貴重だったと思います。僅か1分足らずの間に1曲を組み込むという作業と櫛を打つのも手作業だったと思いますので、御苦労があったことが伺えます。

I forgot that Nidec bought Sankyo. I believe they were interested in their precision motor business. BTW the pins on the cylinder aren't just inserted, they are ultrasonically welded in place.

Beautiful products! So much left out of the video, though; while the shown final assembly is beautiful, I would have enjoyed seeing more of the component craftsmanship as well (such as the enclosure box or the base casting/finishing). There's a lot of unappreciated work!

last spring i visited a store in Kyoto that sold hundreds of musical boxs and musical toys and other figures that also moved. my mother got a couple small ones but some of them larger ones were really impressive.
