That's Mark Gungor, one of the most sought-after speakers on marriage and family in the US. He's also a pastor and a ridiculously funny guy. In this video, "The Tale of Two Brains," Mark explores the differences between men and women, and he pretty much nails it. It's no secret that men and women have always had difficulty fully understanding each other. But no one puts it better than International marriage speaker and comedian Mark Gungor.

My brother-in-law could just sit and say nothing for hours. It amazed me until years later he admitted to me that he was stoned.

Do this with a crowd from my generation and there will be a few boos at some points probably 😔

I truly think this explains why a lot of women complain that guys don’t listen it’s not that we’re not listening it is fact that women are changing subjects so often we cannot keep up with the box changes, and we miss it
  • @ruckboger
I don't know why but this subject always gets portrayed as comedy. But it is in actuality a serious subject.

lol. I do love my nothing box. I feel sorry for chicks now. Nothing's better than nothing.
  • @marmelaki
I would argue that women also have a box labeled "nothing" on the outside, but it's a scam. When you eventually convince her to open it, a whole bunch of "somethings" hit you like a tornado.

My mom always told my dad, "Im here on earth to spend your money, so get used to it"
  • I’ve found out that when something bothers me I will play the situation over and over again to logically explain it and until I do I can’t help but think, “ well, logically that is the best answer even taking others emotions into account so what the hell?”

Actually, enlightenment is related to no thought. Being still, present, and with no thought is considered very enlightening. Not many people can do it. It’s being above thought, not consumed or enslaved by it. 99% of all thought is repetitive nonsense that means nothing. Rising above it is intelligence and enlightenment. Suffering ends.

This is why they get upset when I use logic to win the argument. Shocking. Since I should not be able to do that. Yawn.

Women feel first and think later whereas men think first and feel later at least thats the way l see relationships. lt's nature dog and cat we cant be the same and the differences are beautiful and mysterious to be resolved in bed.
  • There are some emotions/sensations that really are quite useless. Feeling guilty about something minor for long period's, hearing about someone dying that you dont know, relaxing when work is done, feeling inadequate for it's own sake etc...

hot damn he's right, my greatest skill is doing nothing 😁
  • @areeb.naeem.
This is basically what i wanted to say and this guy nailed it

Women think they know what men are thinking. Men think they know what women are thinking. They are usually both wrong. However if you want a real sampling of the differences in men and women, read the personals on dating sites. First the women, then the men. Quite eye opening.
  • Actually, I do it to my mom when she talks a lot, and I get into a state of not paying attention to what she says so that I don't understand what my mom says I hear only a little noise
