Never been so proud to say I didn’t go the thug in and out of jail route. This is horrible - so glad I’m a square lame 9 to 5 guy.

As a law-abiding heterosexual Black man, I've chosen to NEVER go to jail or prison! I couldn't understand the concept of being locked up around homosexual predators or being away from beautiful women!

As a former probation and parole officer, I could see the case notes from the counselors in the prison. Their electronic files would be flagged with a special symbol if they were raped or engaged in consensual same sex relations. So many men were engaging in consensual same sex relations, while their wives, baby mommas, and girlfriends were ringing down my phone about their release date. It opened my eyes to reality that a lot of men that cycle through prison were on the down low.

I did 7 years and never engaged in any homosexual activity. I maxed out 20 years ago , ive never been back and aint going back

The fact rape can even occur the way its portrayed in these places is sad and sickening

I understand why so many people don't like the judge... He exposes the nonsense, debauchery, immortality and debase sexual conduct that goes on in the community. No wonder the children are so messed up

I had a friend that worked in the prison system and he said that women would come to visit their husbands/boyfriends, the men would be all hugged up on their women "acting" masculine..as soon as visitation was over they would go back to their cells snapping their fingers, switching with their shirts twisted up in a knot. Wives were clueless to what was going on. This is real and it happens. I also had an openly gay male associate that would go on sites to meet gay men, he would show me some of the photos of the males trying to meet with him, they were dressed in what some would consider "thugged out" clothes, had girlfriends and children and were creeping on the low with him. I think people just don't realize how common this is.

This was hard to watch, but every black woman who considers linking up with a man who has been to prison should watch this. Ladies, prioritize and protect your health, wellbeing and life at all cost. Thanks Judge Joe. Your frank storytelling is top tier.

It's a sick world. The Honorable Joe Brown needs to be commended on his efforts to turn things around in the black community.

A friend of mine who was locked up told me the most thugged out dealers was engaging in homosexual activity inside. Stay the F out of prison!!!
