  • He’s a big boy. So beautiful and graceful. They shouldn’t play with him like that. They better hope they don’t run in a ditch.
  • They’re a bunch of idiots. They know he’s in musth yet they continue to taunt him, one even said “he’s not a happy chappie”. They should leave him alone but no, they just think it’s a huge joke to behave like this towards a very stressed elephant. I almost wish he had caught them up, they wouldn’t be laughing then when he tips the vehicle over & tramples on them which he could do quite easily . People like this make me so mad 😡

I remember in the book, Lawrence getting very angry and firing a group of his staff for taunting the elephants like this.

What a horrible way to treat animals. These people make me want to puke.
  • @shachindra3dec
Imagine if another elephant came from behind or was standing on one of those blind turns you took in reverse...
  • In the lives of the tourists, this is a fun, exciting adventure. In the lives of these creatures, they are being harassed, intruded upon and baited. They deserve to live lives as unmolested by humans as possible. They don't ask for interaction with humans, and it must be amazingly stressful in the lives of these elephants to regularly encounter humans and strange, powerful vehicles, that stalk and chase and run towards and away from their families. I wish we would look at it from a less self-centered point of view
  • I loved the book "Elephant Whisperer" and would love to one day visit Thula Thula. I lived in Zimbabwe for 34 years. Saw plenty of elephant, but never would have antagonized these precious beasts. I think your reputation could be tainted with such behaviour by your staff. Please stop such provocation. Thank you. and I think Mr. Anthony would be disappointed at your behaviour. love these elephants and respect them.

Shameful conduct by the tour guide and the tourists. If the jeep tyre got punctured or the engine seized, they were in for some REAL TROUBLE. All this nervous laughter just exposes their fear in front of the mighty beasts. By their behaviour they show us what not to do in a safari. 👎🏽👎🏽
  • @MrBrumlad
I went on a safari tour a couple of years ago and the guide never put us in this type of danger he took us to see the animals in their natural habitat without distubing the animals these people are fools on this video
  • Tourists would not have been laughing if they became surrounded by the animal family with defensive angry adults. THAT would have been very very bad.
  • @lawrence18uk
Elephant(s) were amzingly quiet - no trumpetting. Wonder why not?
  • This video shows clearly that the vision of Lawrence Anthony is NOT being respected. I don't think Lawrence would have approved of the extended interaction with the elephants. It feels to me like the elephant is being taunted. This video makes me feel sad and angry!
  • Why are you teasing this Big Boy. I don't think that is being a good neighbor. What a MAJESTIC BEAUTIFUL ANIMAL. One of God's many miracles.
  • @favour5262
If that car gets stuck you willl learn to respect animals!
  • @MW-so7is
I know this is old, but I was really rooting for the elephant. What a bunch of losers.

"The most non-negotiable rule on the reserve was that no one was allowed to have any self-initiated contact with the elephants. Anyone who disobeyed that law would be instantly dismissed." - From 'The Elephant Whisperer' by Laurence Anthony. This was 6 years ago, but I hope the rangers got flack after this.
  • @hamdanjantan399
Idiot tourist: "Here it comes , here it comes, here it comes" Elephant :" Dont come here, dont come here, dont come here, idiot"
  • @2dasimmons
LEAVE ELEPHANT ALONE. GET OUT OF HIS AREA! SHAME ON YOU ALL😢
  • @karenpillow4104
I’m I the only one that hoped the elephant would catch them. Get your adrenaline rush in a way that doesn’t pester wildlife
  • @spongehead1354
Those guides aren't to smart, what if they stalled or broke down or even had another one come up behind them?
