Its really rare to see Glen doing an interview in youtube. This is gold, you are doing Deicide fans a favor dude.
  • Glen's speaking voice is so soothing. He should do audio books

"I was tripping balls one night and listening to Seven Churches...and it all made sense." 😆What a legend.

On my mom's 50th birthday I took her to a Deicide concert - I didn't tell her what kind of band we were seeing, I just said it's a surprise. Hahaha!! It was at Reggies Rock Club in Chicago - She bought me a Deicide shirt.

My mother bought me the Legion album for my 21st birthday. It's now death metal classic. I also seen the Legion tour with Demolition Hammer and Cancer. Priceless memories.
  • Positive life lessons from Glen Benton about apologizing, and he ain't wrong.
  • Man, back in 92 you would NEVER be able to see an interview like this with Glen. This is so cool.

I met Glenn twice a long long time ago. The first time he was Coked out of his mind and a complete D bag. The second time he was the nicest most humble coolest dude ever snd even apologized when I brought up the first time. I respect the dude. He is an old head that led the way for so many bands. Glad he has become a good dude these days. Much respect Glenn. Thanks for what you brought to the metal world.

I went to Disney land wearing a Deicide shirt and it was funny that the security guy was like, “it’s been a while sins I heard those guys”. Lol

I bought Legion in the fall of -94. I was fifteen years old. I remember before I bought it, the cover pic was patched on the backs of many a member of Oulu’s most feared gang roaming the streets at night - but then again some wore Iron Maiden patches, so I went into the record store thinking, ’it can’t be too heavy, can it?’. At the same time I bought Morbid Angel’s Blessed are the Sick. What can I say. Satan Spawn the Caco-Daemon blew my mind. It was the heaviest thing I had ever heard, nothing came even close. And it persists to this day and sounds just as good right now, 30 years later.

This was the first interview of Glenn I ever listened to. He's actually a pretty sensible dude. Cheers

This interview changed my entire view on Glen. Fan since the early nineties, even bigger fan now.
  • Garza has a great attitude. He’s seems very positive and I think that allows the person being interviewed to just relax and open up. Good job Garza.
