10:35 this gave me an idea. Imagine having a submarine style periscope that when you push up on it, it peeps up lifting a patch of grass. So essentially it’s like a secret way to check your lawn. That’d be pretty cool I think

I'm an old lady, really like older than dirt. Anyhow, I just discovered your tunnel videos. You, sir, are professor gadget! I don't know what your background is, but I'm seeing perhaps mechanical engineer or machinist, artist, not to mention welder, pipe-fitter, I don't know what all else. You have all the fun toys too. It’s usually hard for me to watch long draw out projects on YouTube but Colin made a long laborious project seem like it was coming together quick, fun to do, and kept my attention the whole time! I think the video making skills are just as good as his engineering skills!

I think the biggest reason everyone is so obsessed with this series is he's doing some cool project we dreamed of as kids. He can afford it, knows how to do it, and has the means to get it done. He's also taking us for the ride and he's an awesome likeable guy rather than the crappy couples that do fix and flip house demo projects you see elsewhere. Also, was anyone else sad that it was a furze bundle box and not Colin Furze sneakers??

30 years from now when this house goes on the market: can you imagine the realtor taking potential buyers for a tour.

Tip: You should always use a core drill at a very slow speed with a lot of pressure into what you are drilling, if you do it fast like this you're doing nothing but dulling the drill. The same concept is true for stainles steel.

As a civil engineer and foundation specialist, I enjoy watching these videos. Isn't it better/more efficient to pump a fine concrete mixture into the hollow space with a small concrete pump? Good luck digging the rest of the tunnels! Best regards from The Netherlands

This project is just so cool. It's kind of my dream project. Just making the bunker, was a dream project. It made sense "diging the pool", then considering it afterwards. Diging the tunnel from underground, makes for more work, but just incase the coolness factor! Would probably be easier to dig the tunnel from above, then cover it, but that would not make the same challenge.
