I appreciate all of your tutorials. You don’t spend endless commentary, straight to the point. Thank you 😊
  • I'm a mathematician specializing in geometry and I think you did a fantastic job explaining that.

Thank you for this most informative video, MayMay. Like others, I will definitely have to watch this one a few times and take notes. I like to take little gifts to folks who help us (like our dental hygienist), and this is the perfect personal touch. Your instructions are very clear, but I will have to try a few boxes myself to really understand what's going on with the math!! Actually, it's the cuts that baffle me, when to angle, when to snip, when to delete a section, so this video will be a wonderful tool for me.
  • Maymay, you say all the time that you’re bad at math but that is not true and this video is proof! Thank you for sharing your gifts with all of us! ❤

Like this -- it IS as simple as measure, sketch, and create a sample/test product: any size / any item. Nice to see this.

Oh my..This is such an easier way than I have been doing..I would love to see making a bigger box and how to connect more than one sheet..Thank you!

I know I've heard you say you don't do math. DO NOT sell yourself short. Math is on display here. Thanks for the concise and accurate description of how to lay out a box. Bravo! You're a great teacher.

It also helps me, personally, to draw the whole (outer) rectangle on my rough sketch, and shade in the bits that get cut off.
  • Great description Maymay. I work at a the ups store and sometimes we need to make a box. It’s one of the hardest things I have to teach some new employees. Sometimes we just take a small box and open it up so you can see how a box is made.
  • THIS WAS GREAT....I ALWAYS WONDERED HOW TO FIGURE THE MATH FOR SMALL GIFTS THAT I GIVE IN A BOX. NOW I KNOW. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
  • @MsSuperklutz

Thank you thank you thank you!! Spent days watching videos and spent hours last night making a box for specific item. I see numbers and just cant think haha. I feel confident after watching this tutorial that I can make any size box! Great tutorial!! New follower :).
  • My favorite part of crafting is making boxes for my projects and I draw all my boxes out before assembly. I also keep my sketches in a notebook 🤭. It helps! TFS 💕💕💕
  • You can sandwich the two bottom/side tabs between the two other front/back flaps so they don't stock up and get in the way. That would also give the box extra stability.😊
  • Finally a tutorial I can follow! I've been searching for a long time, trying to find a video that explains the basic box building process. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
  • Excellent tutorial.....thanx ! You are the best ....always explaining everything with so much love ❤️
  • @rubymsp1264

  • @dawniejo2370
