Aaliyah performing "One In A Million" on The Showtime At The Apollo in 1996. Since official AaliyahVEVO already uploaded "If Your Girl Only Knew" in perfect quality, we included only Steve Harvey announcement of that performance. Also pardon the first verse quality, but our HQ was broken at this part.

I wonder what GOD was thinking when he formed and created Aaliyah. What a work of art she was.

I rather listen to Aaliyah than today's artists. Just being honest

Aaliyah had her own lane. Her music, her style, everything!!!!
  • She was clearly dancing and singing at the same time. That's a lot of energy to be doing at ONCE. She was lovely

Oh man, the way she moves! Funny that this is over 20 years old and stiil sounds better than anything on the radio today. Uhh, the 90's

She was really smooth when she performed.

What I like about Aaliyah is that her dancing was still good and memorable but she didn't have to do the most. She had really good subtle dancing. Side note: can people stop comparing her to Beyoncé!!! Two completely different artists. Beyoncé is a power singer and Aaliyah had a much softer quality to her voice. Both incredibly talented, incredibly beautiful Black Women. Instead of pitting Black Women against each other we should be building them up because let's be real, they both are dope ass artists.

She had a multi platinum album while being a senior in high school and graduating with a 4.0 GPA
  • Everybody got out they seat once Aaliyah's name was announced. They were like "OH HELL YESSSS THAT'S MY GIRL!" Mannnn, she was so loved. Wish she was still here and can't get enough of this futuristic ass masterpiece orchestrated by Missy Elliott & Timbaland.
