No Knicks fans are blaming thibs it’s literally just the media pushing that narrative
  • @JustinDean93
This is an unfair narrative. The players who played the most minutes - Brunson, Divencenzo, Hart, & Hartenstein, we’re not the players who were most injured. Julius Randle and Mitch missed majority of the season due to freak injuries. Anunoby was in and out of the lineup almost since his arrival to NY. And Bogdanovic, the 8th man in the rotation, suffered an unfortunate ankle injury in which a player landed on his foot. The media is trying to point the finger without actually knowing this team very well.
  • Coach Thibs has brought the Knicks back to relevancy. He has earned his future as the Head Coach of NY

Tom “You gone earn these millions” Thibodeau

This era of instant gratification and sports needs to stop. The Knicks had a lot of injuries to major key players. They need to just run this team back again no need to add no other players you bring booker he doesn’t play defense. That means you’re too lead guards don’t play defense that is not smart. Leave the team as is everyone needs to relax.
  • @Erawk
3:52 "Imagine Bogdanovic in a series like this at 6 foot 10 with his shot making and his defense." Well yes, you would have to imagine it, because Bogdanovic is 6'7".

This woulda been the rotation if the Knicks were healthy. Run it back Thibs! Starters: 1. Brunson 2. DiVincenzo 3. Anunoby 4. Randle 5. Robinson Bench: 6. Hart 7. Hartenstein 8. Bogdanović 9. McBride 10. Achiuwa

Media roasting Pop for load managing his players.😂 Also, the media is roasting Thibs for playing his players for more minutes than usual .😂

Knicks Fan here, I think Thibs did the best he could do given the injuries. I will say that he should've given more time to Alec Burks and Jericho Sims towards the end of the season to extend the rotation. Burks became a real weapon in this series. Their Rotation when healthy: Brunson, DDV, OG, Randle, IHart, Mitch, Hart, Deuce, Bogan, Precious & Burks. That's 11 guys. They lost 4 of them plus Hart, Brunson and IHart playing hurt. This WAS a deep team, they all just got hurt at the worst times. Can't blame this all on Thibs for this. Yes he should've played Burks more and that Sixers series DRAINED them. I'd love for them to make some minor tweaks to the bench and run it back with a healthy OG and Randle. Unless the Stars are: Booker or Giannis i don't really want to sell the farm for one player. I'd love for them to swing something for a Mikal Bridges (Durable, plays great D and shoots the 3 plus the ability to score 20 points).

People keep acting like mitch was a rotational player. When he was healthy he was in the starting 5 and hartenstein was on the bench. It was brunson, OG, randle, mitch and donte. People commenting dont know the knicks team
  • @KnicksBlitz
Most Knicks fans I know love Thibs. Not sure how he’s to blame. He’s literally the perfect coach for the Knicks.

WHERE was this energy for Darvin Hams job. (Not arguing whether not this should be fired or comparing the coach. Just pointing out the hypocrisy of the media.)
  • Prior to Randle's injury in late January (when the team was already dealing with Robinson's injury and traded 2 players for 1 in the OG trade) had no player in the top 20 in MPG, the team's top minutes players were Brunson at 35 mpg and Randle at 34 mpg, no other player was playing more than 32 mpg. 35/34 MPG is right where star players play, Tatum was 35 mpg and Brown 33 mpg respectively this past season for reference and that was probably driven lower due to the amount of blowouts they had. It wasn't until while dealing with Robinson's injury and then Randle and OG getting hurt in late January while also having other players miss 1-2 weeks like DiVinchenzo and Brunson that they had to lean on players to play heavy minutes. And even then Thibs dug into his bench playing Precious and Burks more when needed. The Knicks got hit hard by the injury bug from late January on and most of the injuries were "freak" occurrences.

Love Monica mcnutt...she defends the Knicks with logic points
  • @JeLloydJMJ
The media is a joke. Trying to blame Thibs for some of these injuries is pure ignorance. Love the fact Legs called out this foolery so strongly. Greeny hunts for this type of trash at times.
  • @john-pp7ws
this knicks team is special, the chemistry and love they have for each other doesnt happen often with teams, i look forwarrd to adding 1 player and being healthy
  • When it comes to Thibs' history with injured players, I can't help but think of this quote from Paulo Cuelho's great book, "The Alchemist:" Everything that happens once can never happen again. But everything that happens twice will surely happen a third time.
  • Could just be me, but if a “star” chooses to avoid the knicks because hes scared of thibs, I wouldn’t want him anyway. Do we think a durant or spida would’ve suited up like OG did to give it a go in an elimination game? I doubt it.
  • You have to consider that this follows him everywhere he goes. Players on that bulls team where never the same after him
