There will never be a more epic, complex, intricate, sonically eargasmic song than You Suffer. I still remember the first time I heard it. Blew my mind.

What really makes this band a legend - to me - yes, they are a legend in their own right, but, the true mastery of this legend begins to shine when You think about all the bands that grew out of Napalm Death. As there are: Carcass (yes, i know they existed before Bill was in ND, but they hadn´t released anything, so i count them) - Cathedral - Scorn - Godflesh - Painkiller Just to mention a few, maybe better known ones of them.
  • I recently started listening to them with Throes of Joy. Love that album and am very interested in the rest of their discography. Thank you for making this video.

A band in the land of Birmingham which is absolutely one of the most legendary parts of growing metal as a whole and this band's discography is always one of my favourites. Also my favourite album from them is always From Enslavement to Obliteration
  • @yungsam64
my favorite is definitely Harmony Corruption: perfect oldschool death metal

I was never really into this band but lately they've been growing on me so I've been watching videos on them to see what's good to listen to from them

Honestly the shock of their second album From Enslavment to Obliteration hooked me it’s my favourite album and then also to add to the happiness and passion of this album it was recorded in my home city what blow my fucking mind

Learned about ND through their first 3 albums and basically grew up on "Utopia Banished".. I know every riff, melody, lick by heart, it's essentially my youth and forever will be. Not many people talk about it these days, but it's worth a listen. And fuck yes, Apex blew me away!
  • I for one am surprised that Napalm Death doesn't play easy listening jazz. This is a perfect video. I was never sure where to begin with this band. Thank you for the suggestions on what to listen to!
  • @bobilly
Apex Predator is super underrated, got so little buzz when released but it's maybe my favorite ND record.

Brilliant review, I have just started listening to what is my first album since scum, order of the leech, what a great record. Looking forward to diving I yo some of your recommendations
  • Definitely one of my favorite bands...especially live! Seen them twice and each time they were absolutely amazing! 🤘🤘
  • Your timing on this video couldn’t be better. I just decided to revisit their whole discography.
  • Great episode! Hopefully you get your hands on a copy of Harmony Corruption soon. I picked up picture disc 12” back in the day.
  • Leaving Mentally Murdered off of this list is criminal considering it is imo the best they ever were on record.
  • Really great videos you put out, keep it up 👍. Now for the question. Is this similar to Anaal Nathrakh? AN is one of my favorite bands and would be awesome to get something new to listen to
  • This weekend has 200 Stab Wounds, Unleashed and Darkwoods My Betrothed dropping albums. As for Darkwoods, their new album is their first in 23 years since 1998.
