I see a lot of ppl in comments sleeping on the fact the original version is the great G-Dep (at least in early 2000s) with same name. Dave East dope younger generation MC for sure, but don’t sleep on Child of the Ghetto album and track by G-Dep. Everyday, Child of of the Ghetto, I Am (Featuring 2 GOATs Rakim & G-Rap on same track) 3 of the best songs on there for sure.
