I've been watching Mog's channel since late 2020 when he had around 5k subscribers. It's been amazing to see his channel & community grow, and he really deserves it.

10:16 This describes it perfectly. I really want to make videos since gaming/working out are my only hobbies, but the mountain called "editing" is too scary to climb. I can't imagine putting a video out that's of a high enough quality to get interest, no matter how good my builds are...

I have one question that i think a lot of small creators are interested in. If i have 0 views, 0 subscribers and i want to make a video about a topic that doesn't exist on YouTube, where will my viewers find my video? If i want to make a video about how people life's changed from 1950 to 2023. There are no keywords or specific audience for this. How can i make this work? Or how will this work on YouTube, how Youtube will find me viewers for my video, assuming it's a good video for everybody

This Sunday is my 11th anniversary on YouTube and yes I’m thinking it’s time to give up and move on. Just don’t know why I’m putting myself through this financial misery each month.

I think the reason why some creators get huge subscriber counts whereas some don't is because the ones with more subscribers ASK. I watched a video yesterday from a creator and the video had well over a million views. It wasn't the only video of his with that total, and several others had a 5 digit view count. And these are high quality , well produced videos. But he's only got a few hundred subscribers. I noticed that not once did he ask people to hit the subscribe or like buttons during the video. I really think it does make a difference.
