  • I moved to Arizona in Mar 2020, right when the COVID shut down started. For 2020 and most of 2021, I rarely left the house and my daughter was the only person I regularly interacted with in person. I only recently started getting out regularly and exploring places. One of my 2023 goals is to visit a new area in Arizona every month. Thank you for producing this channel.

I love Arizona: I may not be a resident yet, but I've been to Arizona and I've got to explore a bit what its like and honestly Arizona has my heart ❤ from the beautiful scenery to friendly people to spectacular sunsets and pleasant winters in the south I just love everything about AZ and I can't wait to see the rest of the state
  • Dry heat is the way to go!! I can tolerate dry heat far easier than humidity and cold!
  • I was born and raised in AZ and don't want to move anywhere else. My son bought a new build in Flagstaff several years ago and due to a job transfer he sold that home for more the twice the amount of what he paid. He bought a home in the Verrado area of Buckeye and was able to add a pool. Both him and his wife work for APS. My granddaughter just graduated from Coconino high school, she was the Salutatorian. She has a Lumberjack scholarship to NAU where she will start pre med in the fall. There are a lot of opportunities in AZ. Taking the ski lift at snow bowl in the fall is spectacular, but where warm clothes and a blanket is a must. 🌵👍

Not just the USA, inflation is a problem all over the world right now.

I have lived in Southern Arizona for 6 years now and I love it. It gets a little warm in the summer, but I never have to shovel snow or mow grass.

I love this channel, it's been so helpful. I'm from Amsterdam, The Netherlands and I'm engaged to an American who lives in Phoenix. I've visited once, I'll be back in November and the plan is that once we get married I'll be moving there. I have to be honest, I do have my concerns, especially when I see Americans saying that they would advice to stay in Europe, because of many reasons, like the gun violence and the bad (expensive) healthcare. So I'm nervous because of those reasons, but after seeing this video it just made me super excited. Because you pointed out so many things that for me are important and attractive. So thank you so much for taking a bit of my concerns away! Keep making these great videos 😃

What you are sharing is actually wise and powerful. Moving within the US can still produce cultural shock. To avoid this is to simply get out of your comfort zone and try new things. This helps me a lot. Thanks!

This year and around Christmas we been blessed with a lot of snow . The densely packed snow cover on trees made high elevated Flagstaff and area look stunning and serene! Great time to take kids out for some sledding or snow tubing.
  • Great video! Moved to Flagstaff from Dallas/Ft Worth area last year and enjoying all of the outdoor areas.

I grew up in Prescott of course as a teenager I didn't appreciate it because it was small and not enough to do. Now, looking back I'm so grateful that I grew up there. Really wish I could afford to move back but at least I can still visit

He's right about wide open spaces and semi-right on infrastructure, everything else not so much. I guess it depends on whether or not you really love the desert and don't mind the los angeles mindset that's taking over the valley.
