I had the opposite problem. I only shopped secondhand with my parents, so when I did go clothes shopping as a teenager I was super anxious about prices and felt completely unprepared for shopping with other kids.

The only reason why I'm slightly anti-school uniforms is because I grew up watching those US teen movies with the classic no uniform rule where everyone just wears casual clothing and whatnot. I always felt jealous, and while nowadays I don't really care that much compared to before, I still wanna say that I love being able to not need a school uniform anymore in my new school. edit, i am now in college, and was forced to revert back to the need for uniforms rule.

Yooooo, coming back to this video 5 years later, I realize that when he is talking about the shoes and how he steps on the aglets, there used to be a definition of what the galette of a lace was, now it’s not there.
