Gosh. Two more years have already passed. I actually made a similar video to this, but that one is kind of outdated (it's from 2018) plus I wanted to showcase some other older animations I didn't get the chance to show in that original video. There's a bunch of new content here!

The song I used here is a cover of How Far We've Come, performed by Kevin Staudt. I think he did an amazing job with it! Check it out:    • Matchbox Twenty - How Far We've Come ...

Check out the description for my own thoughts on these (almost) 8 years of animation imrpovement ;W;. Or read about them here!! 2012 - I was 9, and my animations could barely be considered animations XD. I animated in MS Paint and I didn't know what I was doing. But I still look fondly on these lil winx inspired transformations :'3 2013 - wasn't really a remarkable year for my improvement, but during that time I made a MLP animation that I would post a year later and that would become my first successful video so that's that! 2014 - In the video I mixed this up (I'M SORRY!!) The animation shown here was actually from early 2015! But ignoring that mistake- this was around the time my anatomy started improving! Oh and the animation shown there, was my first animation to reach a million views x3 2015 - This was the begging of my Undertale phase. Also I started imropoving around the end of this year! Mostly due to switching to Pencil 2D to animate! 2016 - I reached my first 10k subs! It was the year of Undertale and Invader Zim haha. I really look fondly on these animations. They started getting cleaner and I started spending more time on them. 2017 - This was the year of my biggest jump in improvement (in my opinion!). It was due to me taking a lot more time with my animations and the fact I switched to animating on Clip Studio Paint. During that year I think I reached my first 100k subs! This was also my most productive year by far. 2018 - This is where the downfall of my motivation started. I was unsatisfied with everything I made, and felt like I couldn't reach the level of 2017. 2019 - This year was very much the same. Just kind of a hit-or-miss year. I did start to add much more frames to my animations and experimented more! 2020 - Finally I'm back on track! I'm now 17 and I'm pretty motivated to animate and I think I made a lot of progress, especially with the fact that I started experimenting with different styles and techniques as well as started utilizing 3D animation more! Hope to make more progress in the years to come!!!

The way this began with winx club and ended with winx club made me so emotional for some reason

This gives me an incredible amount of inspiration-- "I'm gonna get there someday"-- But at the same time, and incredible amount of anxiety-- "But what if I can't? What if I fail?"

I’m not lying, I would definitely watch a full length movie created by you. Pure talent.

This is why you should never put down a little kid or beginner artist for “bad” art. You never know what it could turn into.

    2012 - 2015 Katrinci: "I sleep" 2015 - 2020 Katrinci: "It's time to shift into MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE"
  • 1:43 it got me 1 second to realize this was Info-Chan giving me Yandere Simulator vibes-

How can I be THIS immensely proud of someone i have never met
  • Feels like Winx Club is one of the many reasons why people got into animation.

this was so inspiring to watch! the art teacher at my school believed in 'inborn talent'. she said, "if you do not have that talent, you can practice and become good, but you'll never become an expert." it really frustrated me, thinking of the many kids who might have given up because of her. art is a learned skill, and it's never too late to pick up a pencil and start. thank you for showing your progress! it gives me hope for mine <3

I apologize if someone already said this, but... This is why you should never put young animators in cringe comps! Instead of bullying them, give them support and tips! Do you want them to improve, or do you want them to loose self confidence?
  • @_Alinaav
The 2018 was literally like movie

And this, kids, is why we don’t like cringe comps.
  • @A_ldo..
Damn 8 years??? Maybe i should start animating now...
  • @jaslikeart
This is why we shouldn't put people in "cringe compilations" or insult them saying their art is bad. You won't know if they'll be working for Disney in the future. You just won't know
