The feeling of watching Messi go round 4 defenders and put it in the net doesn't compare to anything Ronaldo does. People like to compare stats and trophies but anyone who loves football gets those chills when Messi is on the ball that no player can replicate, beats any stat Ronaldo has.

Best player ever without a doubt! I'm 50, so I had the pleasure to witness all Maradona´s career and for me he was the best, until this creature arrive. There's no words to describe Messi...he is just the perfect player in all aspects of the game. As a portuguese I lust laugh when people here try to compare Cristiano to Leo!! I'm a waiter in a fancy Lisbon restaurant and some football players are usual costumers...the other day I was speaking with Eduardo Salvio (Benfica's argentine player who share matches and training sessions with him at the national squad) so I asked him what is Messi's biggest advantage to all the rest and he said... "well, he is always one or two seconds ahead of everyone." Simple as that!

Here's Messi, away from 2, 3, 4...wonderful wonderful wonderful. How good is he? A near supernatural goal from Lionel Messi. He is just brilliant. Best player in the world (of all time) bar none. That gets me everytime, perfect sum up of what Lionel Messi is. And of course the goal, which goes with it. The kind of goal a certain someone didn't and will never ever score in his whole career, while Messi does it on a regular basis.
