Should I get the 25' or the 22'? Is it worth the extra money? I see the question in Facebook Groups all the time.
In today's video I'm going to lay out 4 Key Differences that I believe you need to know before making a purchase.

NOTE: There was an error in the boat length reported on the 22 foot Yamaha. Actual length is 22' long. The 22'6" length is the length on trailer with the tongue folded away.

Here is our list of the Top 5 Things we love about our 222XD that is featured in this video.

I think the almost $20,000 difference in price is going to be the deciding factor for many people.

Love the content! any idea on head clearance on the 22' model while standing at the helm? I'm 6'3" and would prefer not to hit my head while moving around under the Bimini.
  • Thanks for reviewing! Both look like great boats. Just wondering if you have spent any time with the AR220. Interested to hear how the TR-1s handle the additional weight of this year’s model.

Hi Will, great video! How can I get the SeaDek (Left and Right sections) for the swim platform hatch on the 252? My 252SE does not have the SeaDek under the seat cushions. Seems like a nice option to remove the cushions and have more non-skid standing room back on the swim platform.

Great video. Thanks. Question, what is the top speed for 22 and 252.

I would also recommend to consider the type of water you plan on boating in. Bigger boats deal with chop or rough water better then smaller boats. Comparing the my sx240 vs my friends 20ft prop boat, there’s a big difference in ride quality in the rough.

Wifey says every inch counts, and the bigger the better, and I agree😂😂😂

Enjoy your videos Will. Ive watched your videos on the new sea doo switch and on the yamaha jet boats. We like both and are having a difficult time deciding which one to get. The 21ft cruise switch with the 230 motor or the AR250 yamaha. I noticed you touched on yamaha's reliability and low maintenance...but you didnt mention anything about the reliability or amount of maintenance that would be required on the sea doo switch. I would greatly appreciate your expert advice on this matter before i make my decision. Thank you

A big factor in deciding between these is their storage dimensions. What is the height of each with the tower collapsed? I’m wondering what size of garage will be needed for each boat.
