I’ve been saying it for years now but despite the fact the show is called Cobra Kai it is absolutely the legacy of Mr. Miyagi.

I love the way Daniel says "Mike FFFFkin Barnes". You can feel that emotion 🎉

Mr. Miyagi has to remain undefeated. At least since he left Okinawa in 1943

I hope Season 6 isn’t too reliant on the lore and world building. They still have to conclude everyone’s story.

I love how you respect Korean and Japanese martial arts by using the correct terminology like dojang instead of dojo when talking about a specific style

Imagine a Mr. Miyagi series. It would be so epic! What was he like as a kid? Maybe he was Johnny (who knows). What was his relationship with his father like and mother? Where did he grow up and how or when did they wind up in California and Hawaii? How did his mother die? What was Miyagi's relationship with his best friend, Sato, like, and what exactly happened in their conflict over Yukie? What was Miyagi's experience like with racism and bullying during his time? What was his experience in World War 2? What was his romance and relationship with his wife like and how did he handle the loss of his child? What did Mr. Miyagi do after the war and what was his life like all those years until he met Daniel? There is so much to explore with Mr. Miyagi.

I wish it could go on forever ❤

If Miyagi himself returned, they'd have to get a different actor since they've already done lots of flashbacks.

I pray I don't die before season 6 comes out. I am so hyped!

Sato had the largest Karate school in Okinawa. It is very likely he at least knew who Kim Sun Yung through the competition scene of the time.

I wonder if they will have a Miyagi deathbed scene or at least an original flashback conversation with Daniel. Some sort of emotional flashback. With de-aging and AI it could be amazing.

the show did well and its time to wrap it up. Nothing worse than trying to extend something longer than it needs to be. They did well telling the story and its expansion. Cobra Kai never dies!!!!

Right before I saw the clip you your self included in this video, with Daniel saying; “Yeah, but you knew Karate?”, and Miyagi goes, “Someone always knows more”, I would’ve made you remember that clip my self 😂 That was all going through my mind during this video, but then you were leading up to it all along 🙏 GREAT video, man! Miyagi`s humility kept him grounded over the years and hence, invincible. it`s called experience culminating in wisdom.

I think if they fought, miyagi won, because they’re both living. Based on Kim’s philosophy, if he fought someone with the skill of miyagi, he’d want to kill him. But miyagi would show mercy and let Kim live.
