  • the shirt i have on for Russ’ side project Tanith (he’s still the guitarist for Satan), absolutely 10,000% recommend their 2019 album In Another Time on metal blade records for anyone who really loves 70s Uriah Heep, Wishbone Ash, Thin Lizzy or the great US band Ashbury. It’s spent as much time in the stereo as the newer Satan albums!

I rank "Court in the Act" as the best album of the entire metal genre. It's flawless from start to finish.
  • Court in the Act is in my top 10 of NWOBHM albums. Very good band.

My favorite album is Blind Fury Out Of Reach. Shame you didn't include thsi one and Pariah albums, because these are the same guys on all albums , only singers are different.Lou Taylor, the singer of Blind Fury, actually formed it with Kevin Heyborn from Angel witch and they made demo in 83.Heyborn than left and guys from Satan joined the band. It's great that you did show with them beyond Maiden, Saxon, Angelwitch.. You should do other NWOBHM greats Desolation Angels.Elixir, Battleaxe, Cloven Hoof, Chariot,Rock Goddess

Great band. I regret not getting into these guys back in my "glory days". I love NWOBHM and this band was 2nd to none.
  • A great ranking, thank you😎🤙👍💯...love the NWOBHM and SATAN are one of the best bands to emerge from the movement in my opinion...COURT IN THE ACT for me will remain in the top 50 albums of heavy metal ever made (i rank this album very high for my personale tastes) very aggressive, propulsive and very well played...they were head of their time...cheers🤘👋
  • I'm not a big metal fan,but it's great to see pete giving these bands the publicity they wouldn't otherwise get,the effort some of these bands put in for scant reward is phenomenal, its a labour of love for them a bit like S.O.T for pete
  • @smios
You are on fire lately Pete. Another great video. Btw for those who don’t follow the SoT website have a look especially at the reviews section. You will discover a lot of new stuff
  • I love Satan with Brian Ross , could you rank the Tygers of Pantang , and Witchfynde ? Both bands have reformed in the modern era. Satan - Court In the Act might have been the first album to contain true neo classical guitar leads
  • Pete, you're spoiling us with all this NWOBHM content lately! 1. Life Sentence 2. Court in the Act 3. Cruel Magic 4. Atom by Atom 5. Suspended Sentence
  • @hevihoo
I already liked it even though I haven't watched it yet. But what's not to like if you're talking 'bout Satan. Great stuff. Their comeback has been pure gold.
  • @inmyhouse11
I think the pup wanted to give his rankings of the band
  • @louderthanlife
I LOVE the comeback Satan albums. Ross sounds great and the sound is crushing. While we're thinking of NWOBHM....howzabout Venom and Raven? Both legendary \m/ \m/
  • @ericfox5652
I remeber when I first heard "Cout in the Act" many years ago I was like Damn. I haven't heard this Blitzkrieg album before lol little Did I know Brain Ross fronted both Satan ans Blitzkrieg. Always loved his vocals. Great show Pete and Ryan
  • I forgot about this band! Definitely going to revisit their discography. Adorable dog, by the way.
  • @basho1967
Love me some Satan! Court in the act back in the day was it. Great guitars and vocals and still putting out great stuff.
  • I literally was thinking about wanting to see a ranking the albums video on Satan yesterday. One of my favorite NWOBHM groups, amazing musicians, and still putting out great albums. Hey Pete, how about a ranking the albums with King Diamond/Mercyful Fate records soon?
  • @garyjoyce2160
If has nothing to do with the name for me/ I just don’t know any of their albums/ I’ll 💯 look into them !
