Dear Andrew-- After listening to your work since the 90s, all the way back to Squirrel Nut Zippers and the Thrills album, this new material is such a nice full-circle reward. Very lovely work and uniquely you, for which I have a never-ending appreciation.

I'm absolutely thrilled with this material. The essence of class, pure craft.
  • Golly, gotta be the best damn cover of this tune ever recorded! Just love your smooth rendition… the whistle is pure you, Andrew. This promises to be the jazz album we all need. Brilliant ensemble.

OMG!!! Vibraphone!!! CAN NOT WAIT for the full album. Made my day.

So happy you are coming back to your roots, I absolutely loved the last two albums. Pre-ordered as fast as I could this morning.

Velvety lovliness...the vibraphone adds that cool jazz dreaminess, and the vocals are tender and understated. I've never liked this song (sorry, Rex Harrison)...but Mr Bird, you've woven your harmonic magic into this interpretation, it's a delight ❤

Awesome! Great to see Ted on vibes. Abe is amazing too, but always feel like Ted's sync with Andrew's music is always on point.

Lovely! This is easily one of my top three favorite standards. If requests are going out, I’d love to hear In the Wee Small Hours, and You Belong to Me.
